Seems like there were a lot of Catholics on the jury

Hoping at some point we get Andrews account of the conversation when he went to Ghislaines flat and was introduced to Virginia Giraffe .... hi this is Virginia , she has just met you but like all 17yo girls is up for some (non sweating) dancing and a disappointing poke from a 40yo lardy bloke

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
Has anyone mentioned that this Virginia Giraffe whatever her name is, actually recruited young girls?

You know what would be a mental conspiracy theory?

If Ghislaine's sister was a senior member of the group of international elites spearheading the great reset.

Hahahah what a load of nonsense that sort of thing could never happen....

I hope there's a retrial - more anguish for Maxwell and Andrew culminating in same outcome.

Put your teeth back in. Pee Wee is WHO's very own shock jock. If he has something serious to say he'll post under one of his other handles.

She will either 'take' her own life in prison or it will be blamed on an inmate.
I'll be staggered if anything different happens.

Too suspicious, I expect it will be due to natural causes. Heart attack as Max Clifford, both know/knew far too much.

Re Charleyfarley. Yes it does indeed. I've read the article now. I suppose once the story is out there they have to go public...

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
During jury selection, some 230 prospective jurors were given questionnaires asking, among other things, if they or anyone in their families had experienced sexual abuse, court records show.

Legal experts told the Telegraph on Tuesday that the revelations risked a possible mistrial if the juror had not been fully transparent on the court’s questionnaire form prospective jurors were required to fill out during the selection process.

“The juror asserted that he ‘flew through’ the prospective juror questionnaire and does not recall being asked whether he had been a victim of sexual abuse,” attorneys for Southern District of New York wrote in a filing on Wednesday. “Based on the foregoing, the Government believes the Court should conduct an inquiry,” they said, proposing a hearing next month.

One of the 50 questions asked to each jury member was have you ever suffered from sexual abuse.

I’m guessing this guy answered no.

Sorry, that should've read Wouldn't it be the defence wants a mistrial?

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
Re Charley Farley: wouldn't be the defence wants a mistrial. Maxwell was found guilty, why would the prosecution want a mistrial?

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
I thought one of the principles behind trial by jury was that the jurors discuss the case among themselves, in an effort to reach unanimity.

So, he's "admitted" to doing his job.

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
Does that really make a trial unfair?

Seems like anyone could have persuaded people of that rather obvious fact of life.

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
Reporting in The Telegraph saying that prosecutors want an inquiry as to why a juror called 'Scotty David' failed to declare that he was a victim of childhood abuse,, he has since admitted that he influenced the jurors.

He had told jurors how he had waited until secondary school before telling anyone about his abuse, in an effort to justify why some of Maxwell’s victims may not have come forward earlier.

Prosecutors are hoping the inquiry will lead to a mistrial

Re: Ghislaine Maxwell trial
Predictable whitewash. Let the people have her found guilty so somebody is accountable and then close the door on everything that went on. There is no way I can see any high profile people being convicted for their crimes. Money talks and there is a person who cannot be bribed or threatened.
She will either 'take' her own life in prison or it will be blamed on an inmate.
I'll be staggered if anything different happens.
