GTHC Predicts, Brighton at Home
He has only gawn and cursed us! 8 games without a win for Brighton.....they always seem to get a bit of luck with us, if we have bogey teams this is one of them, hope im wrong and a resounding bounce back from the 2 recent loses, will go a ratched for this game..........COYI

It's now eight games since Brighton won in the league but they have drawn six of those and are still in the top half of the table.

They created loads of chances against Leeds on Saturday so it was pathetic for some Seagulls fans to boo them off after that game finished 0-0.

West Ham need a win too - they played well at Manchester City on Sunday but slipped to a second successive defeat. They are at home, and I think they will get one.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

We played well enough at the Etihad to beat a team like Brighton.

Shame that doesn't automatically mean that we are going to beat them tonight.

Moyes would have made a monster out of Vaz Te. As for tonight. We need to win. And Brighton always up their game against us. So we most likely struggle for a draw.

Vaz Te was probably Big Fat Sam's (short term anyway) best signing something like 500k. His goals took us back to the Premier League we was right behind behind that goal about half way up when he hit the winner at Wembley.

Couldn't quite cut it the big time.......but he did score in the win at Spurs a couple of years later.....legend!

Vaz Te was an enigma, really unpredictable, borderline genius one minute, hopeless donkey the next. Scored some great goals and some important ones. I liked him. Deserves more credit.

Vaz the got an overhead kick, very underrated goal.

Yep they are definitely our bogey team and have been for a while. The last time we beat them was that 6-0 drubbing at Upton Park in 2012 I think Vaz Te got a hat trick that day. At least Glenn Murray isn't playing tonight!
