Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
Lots of talk here that he is about to invade Ukraine.

NATO and the US won’t get involved but heavy sanctions have been threatened and Putin has threatened ending all diplomatic ties with the west.

Latest is that Putin will stage an attack making it look like Ukraine starts the conflict.

What’s being reported over there?

Is it about to kick off?

More Russian propaganda from Ukrainian state controlled (but Russian influenced?) Ukrainian Pravda

Who will rid me of these troublesome monks?

Of course not. Odessa was one of the places where the Kremlin-backed separatists failed in 2014. Kharkiv was another.

Are you seriously calling those nice Donbas separatists civilians saddo? You know, the ones with all the artillery and seemingly endless supply of ammunition and the KGB training? As for Crimea, you are aware that prior to last year’s invasion, that had been illegally annexed by the Kremlin and no evil Ukrainian army could get anywhere near its own civilians there?

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
What a strange question Pickle, even for you?

Once the coup was complete, they didn't need snipers, they built up their army and attacked their own civilians in Donbass, Crimea and many other areas.

Putin is a murderous cunt.
Using barrier troops behind the poor bastards on the front line is as low as it gets.

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
Come on, how many civilian demonstrators have been shot by mysterious snipers since the US and EU’s puppet Zelensky seized power by democratic election, saddo?

Has it all been covered up by the WEF and the MSM?

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
By the way, deploying nuclear missiles in Belarus is just a means of avoiding western military intervention in Belarus, or another coup. The big concern for the west shouldn't be this, it should be the stated de-dollarisation process announced by China and Russia last week.

The Democratic party's National Democratic Institute, the Republican party's International Republican Institute, the US state department and USAid are the main agencies involved in these grassroots campaigns as well as the Freedom House NGO and billionaire George Soros's open society institute.

US pollsters and professional consultants are hired to organise focus groups and use psephological data to plot strategy.

The usually fractious oppositions have to be united behind a single candidate if there is to be any chance of unseating the regime. That leader is selected on pragmatic and objective grounds, even if he or she is anti-American.

In Serbia, US pollsters Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates discovered that the assassinated pro-western opposition leader, Zoran Djindjic, was reviled at home and had no chance of beating Milosevic fairly in an election. He was persuaded to take a back seat to the anti-western Vojislav Kostunica, who is now Serbian prime minister.

In Belarus, US officials ordered opposition parties to unite behind the dour, elderly trade unionist, Vladimir Goncharik, because he appealed to much of the Lukashenko constituency.

Officially, the US government spent $41m (£21.7m) organising and funding the year-long operation to get rid of Milosevic from October 1999. In Ukraine, the figure is said to be around $14m.

Same playbook used in many different countries. Always the same people behind it. Yet you still can't see it. I'm not even sure you even care.

The needle returns to start of the song, and we all sing along like before.

“Most of the witnesses claimed the shots came from that location blah blah blah…”

Thought you would post this despite the ocean of evidence the snipers were employed by Yanukovitch’s “security services”.

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
"Yanukovitch used snipers to try to quell the Majdan protest"

I thought you'd post this.

The remarkably unpublicised trial had evidence from several eye-witnesses (including those injured by sniper fire told a different story) as did several police who were injured.

A few weeks before Maidan, Svoboda announced they were taking over Hotel Ukraine, their leader occupied a suite on the 11th floor. Most of the witnesses claimed the shots came from that location. Doctors who treated the injured stated that the gunshots wounds proved a steep trajectory (high entry, low exit wounds). The recovered rounds were not standard soviet issue, but were western (NATO) calibre. Further, 2 Georgians admitted to being deployed as snipers on behalf of Svoboda, leaving Ukraine just after Maidan. Also, Svoboda seemed to be in negotiations with Baroness Ashton and her US counterpart about how many dead would be needed in order to gain western support - they were told over a hundred.
