Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
Lots of talk here that he is about to invade Ukraine.

NATO and the US won’t get involved but heavy sanctions have been threatened and Putin has threatened ending all diplomatic ties with the west.

Latest is that Putin will stage an attack making it look like Ukraine starts the conflict.

What’s being reported over there?

Is it about to kick off?

You’ll happily post up something (anything) pro Russian I’ve posted then?

I’ll wait.

Er... given your form of words, yes.

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
Wise up, people. Only two issues at stake here:

Russia needs more weapons that work and more cannon-fodder prepared to die for the cause.

China needs to sell more weapons (maybe in exchange for oil and/or gas) and has millions of troops that need training in a realistic battlefield situation.

Only two dots to join here.

Only issue for China is if it all kicks off internally while all these troops are away getting kille....sorry...trained.

Thank you for admitting I was right.

As you admit, it was you that decided to post about China.

As I said, a desperate attempt to find something negative about Ukraine and its US allies (thank you for quoting that). Presumably you are simultaneously claiming the Russia/China joint exercises are NOT China getting involved while using the exercises as a reason to bring up US weakness in SE Asia.

Too subtle for me, mate.

“Your attempts to find something negative for Ukraine (I suspect it's the US/NATO/'the West' you really hate) and positive for Russia are getting increasingly frantic.”

I didn’t mention Ukraine or Russia.

“Just the very mention of Russia's failure to achieve its war aims has led to your pro-Chinese, anti-American rant.”

Pro-Chinese facts written by Americans?
Nice use of the word ‘rant’ though.

I didn't say you did say China was getting involved, did I?

It's probably you that needs to read stuff more carefully.

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
More than half of the Russian Black Sea fleet's naval aviation combat jets out of use after blasts at the Saky air base in the annexed Crimean peninsula earlier this month, a Western official said on Friday.

The air base near Novofedorivka on the west coast of the peninsula, which Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014, suffered multiple explosions on Aug 9.

The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Ukraine was now consistently achieving "kinetic effects" deep behind Russia's lines which was having a material impact on Russia's logistics support and "a significant psychological effect on the Russian leadership".

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?

Amazing diatribe, well done you.

Now if you take the time to read back properly you’ll see I didn’t say China was getting involved - someone else did.

All u said was ‘nothing positive will come from
It’.
Then I posted what the Americans have already admitted about their simulation of conflict in the South China Sea.

Your attempts to find something negative for Ukraine (I suspect it's the US/NATO/'the West' you really hate) and positive for Russia are getting increasingly frantic.

Just the very mention of Russia's failure to achieve its war aims has led to your pro-Chinese, anti-American rant.

It reminds me of the world's eminent historians. Most of them were Marxists and SW readers. When their worldview came crashing down along with the Berlin Wall and Iron Curtain in 1989-90 they spent the next 10 years in denial. Since then, in order to hide their humiliation and show they were right all along, they have been desperately scraping about for something good to see in China and post-communist Russia.

Not just eminent historians were humiliated, of course. A whole bunch of Sparts, SW/MS salesmen, Militant Tendancy/Tribune Groupers, Wolfies and sixth-form common-room agitators had their pants pulled down, too. A lot of these are sitting at their laptops in their Che Guevarro t-shirts posting on here today. They, along with the obvious mail-order bride cucks are the main pro-Putin supporters here.

Re: Is Putin about to make a big mistake?
From today’s BBC

“Russia has rejected appeals for a complete demilitarisation of the area around the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in southern Ukraine.
The move would make the plant more vulnerable, a Russian official said.”

Such a shame the dominant discourse is so sloppy because it’s not “Russia” and “Russian” but an entirely criminal organisation that can so much more precisely be referred to as the Kremlin. The Russian people are just as much being held hostage here as anyone else.

And Russia would take Ukraine in days....

This entire post highlights your inability to process information you read because you lack the basic knowledge to contextualize it.

Fuck me. In rushes Karen making a show of themselves again.

What more context would you like about the US and their inability to win in the South China Sea ? Have a look at where the 5th fleet is based and tell me how they’d exit Strait of Hormuz? Or maybe they’d use their base in Italy? Which means using the Suez Canal. Good job Egypt hasn’t just applied to join BRICS is it? Oh…..

You’re so sore about the Karen stuff you’re constantly looking to argue with me, only to make yourself look even more like a hysterical mess.
