How many goals has he scored for Everton and Watford?
None for Everton granted but, 5 goals in 11 games for a poor Watford outfit so far. On a free also!

In the two matches we have played against Watford in recent weeks, I have watched King in both of them. He spent a lot of time either throwing himself to the floor, throwing up his arms in disgust, being generally very ineffective or just generally sulking. I think we dodged a bullet, if I am being honest.

Lanzini very effective last night and will probably start the next game , but could be very average .
This is a recurring issue with all the front players except Bowen .
Soucek is a real concern. Anonymous last night again . Just doesn’t look like he can regain last seasons form at all .

We should have bought King a couple of windows ago.
He's not a world beater, but he would have been reasonably priced, nicked a few goals and brought others into play well enough.

What game was you watching, FCJ?
Was the best player on the pitch for the first hour, ran us ragged at times. First time I've seen him in the flesh, and was much quicker than I thought he'd be.
Would be a better option up top than current form Antonio.

Kings pace surprised me, he is quick but not overly effective.
Sissoko had a great game he was quite dominant in the midfield.

King is poor and showed it last night. Went to Everton and was also poor. He wanted the salary of a top player when he is bang average. Seen him miss so many good opportunities. So many better younger players for less salary

I said about a year ago that King would be a useful squad player. A few got very upset, one poster was actually beside himself, and even said that he wold upset the dressing room if he rocked up here.

I agree with you. King has scored 5 goals in 11 games for the Hornets.......not bad for a free transfer!

I didn't particularly like it, but thought we did an ok job of keeping possession when we 1-0 up to control the game and stop them equalising. We kind of kept probing to attack but not risking losing possession of the ball.
