WHO Poll
Q: 2022/23 You are the Chairman what do you do with Moyes?
a. Stick with him obviously, he's delivered two good seasons back to back and will see us out of this dip in form
b. If we're still lingering around the bottom three by the start of the WC then that's the time to get rid
c. What are we waiting for 2 wins in the last 20 PL games is reason enough to sack him, go now
d. I've just got my new Orange & White 3rd Kit with Moyesinho on the back, I can't wait to wear it down to the supermarket, they call me Mr West Ham around here

The Dark Arts
Is it time English teams embraced this?

It's foul (pun intended) but it would seem continental teams all do it. Puts us at a disadvantage.

Sad the game has come to this.

I'd rather see Craig Dawson like tackles, rather then our player going around and falling down shot like Son does

Re: The Dark Arts
Antonio could, and possibly should, have bought a penalty last night. Instead he jumped over the goalkeeper.

I’m not sure if that’s being too honest, or naive, or what, but if he’d made sure his foot made contact with the goalie’s arm and gone down and a pen awarded, I’m not sure anyone on here would be complaining.

Legitimate weapon at Leicester City. Vardy, Maddison.

Re: The Dark Arts
Harry Kane has been doing it for years. We just aren’t very good at it. in my opinion Antonio tries it sometimes, goes down far too easily when you consider the size of him and how strong we know he actually is, but rarely gets a free kick, just ends up looking like he is trying to con the ref, which he is, but because he is so shit at it he also then doesn’t get free kicks he actually deserves because refs aren’t sure if he’s faking it again

Re: The Dark Arts
Yeah, most English teams embraced this long ago, and it's not just foreign players who do it. Sterling was embarrassing earlier this week, constantly going down at the drop of a hat.

"Is it time English teams embraced this?"

They already do. Out of the top flight teams - from what I've seen - we do it far less than the others. You'll never get it raised as an issue because there's too much money involved in the game and the perception is that the top six teams are responsible for said monies which filters throughout every aspect of the game - including corporate and media - so it's vital they remain so. It fuckling stinks.

Lyon's shithousery was of epic proportions.

Rarely seen a side so collectively adept at falling over at the slightest breeze. And I watch the shithousery masters in Italy all of them time. Even they would have been embarrassed, or perhaps proud, of Lyon tonight.

Absolute cunts who ruined what could have been a proper game. I hope we fucking smash them in their own backyard.

The reason why England will never win the World Cup in our life time. Money might ruin the game. But embracing the dark arts will be the death of the beautiful game in England.
