Northern Ireland womens manager Kenny Shiels comments on conceding goals in clusters
Of course he has been forced to make a grovelling apology but do the facts back it up?
It might be that some womens teams are just not very good at football.

His original comments
“In the women’s game, I’ve noticed, as I’m sure you’re aware, if you go through the patterns, when a team concedes a goal they concede a second one in a very very short period of time, right through the whole spectrum of the women’s game, because girls and women are more emotional than men,” he said. “So, they take a goal going in not very well.”

I tend to agree with him.

If that forces (any) women to want to cancel me for thinking that then fucking bring it on and fill yer comfortable shoes - saves me going to the bother of completely ignoring you.

He stated a fact. Women ARE more emotional than men. How many times do men burst into tears or have a little weep?

Men ARE stronger than women. If he'd said that, would he have been crucified? Of course not.

It's getting ridiculous that you can't point out differences in the sexes without getting slammed for it.

Hysterical woke nonsense. However true or false his opinion is, he is as entitled to having one as anyone else.

Heard this earlier on th't radio.
Absolute tosh.
He is either right or wrong but that doesnt matter

He's allowed to speak his opinion and as a football manager who manages a women's team his opinion.is relevant and based on his experience so there is nothing to be upset about. Other people may have another opinion and that's cool too.

Get tae fuck apologists.

Its one of those modern 'debates' where noone DARES take his point for fear of earache and being 'cancelled'.
Most women after having done something bonkers will tell men that they ARE more emotional and that men are heartless beasts.

I see snowflake-for-rent Ian Wright mentions in his tweet when he cried on the pitch.
I hope he was referring to our 2-0 win at Highbury in late April 1994 where endless rounds of Ian Wank Wank Wank saw him inconsolable and needing to be substituted after he berated Arsenal fans for their lack of response.

Girls and more emotional than boys. That's true, on the whole. Obviously individual cases will exist where that's not the case.

Also, isn't it a thing these days that men and boys should be showing more emotions, like their female counterparts?

So it's both a good thing and a bad thing...? Can you actually win anymore?
