What’s your favourite day in the sporting calender?
FA cup final would have been nailed on for number 1 in the past but doesn’t even feature for me now.

1. First West Ham match of the season.
2. Super Bowl.
3. Ladies day at Aintree.

You lot?

First day of the Cheltenham Festival for me or the first day of the Masters. both get me much more excited than any football these days. Although looking forward to Thursday.

I know - remarkable that you'd find such an attitude on this site. I'll work on it, though.

As said every 2 years it should be the equivalent date of Sunday July 10 this year .... Mens Wimbledon Final followed by World Cup or Euros Final

Boxing Day .... first day of the MCG Test followed by West Ham in the afternoon
AFL Grand Final ... last Saturday in September

Re: What’s your favourite day in the sporting calender?
Growing up it was undoubtedly the FA cup final. As a sporting event with mass English appeal it was without parallel years ago especially as there was only one TV channel and very little live sport apart from the test cricket home series.

Nowadays it’s difficult to pick anything as favourite because we are spoiled for choice and every big sporting event is available one way or another.

Always loved the FA cup and still do whilst WHU aware still in it. I make a point of attending all our games in the competition, home or away so for me the biggest day is the day we invariably get knocked out.
