Watching Reading/Sunderland

I still like Holmes at centre back for Reading despite the other side of the defence getting ripped apart.

That said some Alese kid looks the best defender out there so far.

OK fair enough. It seems Wiki is incomplete as you say so my impression he wasn't playing regularly was wrong.

Like you I had high hopes for him but it all went to his head when he was put on £1m a year. I hope Augsburg has been a wake up call for him.

Probably a good idea to not take Wiki as gospel truth. Or at least have a proper look at it. Then you'd see that his career stats were last updated there on 19 March 2022. He played 30 league games last season, like I said.

We should look inside our own academy first, crazy to let Perkins go to Leeds now it looks as if Ashby will follow. Makes no sense at all to me.
