Didn't know anything about Paqueta before we signed him, then heard the praise and saw the price tag. Up until the second half yesterday I couldn't see what the fuss was about, then he got going and got the pace of the game, looks a hell of a player.

Way I saw it too, chim.
A point of contention seems to be Paqueta - some say he was "bloody awful", which I must admit mystifies me. Any suggestions what they are on about?

My two-bob's worth is that I thought Moyes put out a strong side, dropping Fornals and Antonio, we created plenty of chances and it was the first time this season that I felt genuinely excited when Bowen or Scamaca ran forward with the ball. The player who set them off was usually Pacqetta who seems a very, very clever player.
I really enjoyed it and hope to see much more of the skill to go with the application we've been missing this season.

Is that Nunez?
He played.
They let a bunch of centre backs go and the one they bought was suspended.
Many injured strikers.

Years ago, especially as a youngster, I used to enjoy a WHU victory. Reading this thread with all the negativity and personal differences being worked on serves to detract from the upbeat emotions following a win and takes the fun out o& things.
And this is after waiting for the next day after a game.

1 win and 9 defeats in 15 is miserable for wolves.
They too spent a fortune and seem to be in the same boat as us - waiting for something to click. They have some key injuries too. Did their record signing even start ?

It feels to me, trying to trust my questionable memory, that in the last 10 years, we have been the last defeat for quite a few managers.
"Sacked in the morning!" is possibly our song more than any other.

I dunno, I reckon you've inspired me. I'm gonna try to find a party and go and be the life and soul, just like you.

Pretty feeble comeback Eeyore and you forgot to mention we were lucky against Villa.
Go and find a Barn and some straw to rest up in for the next few days until you spread more doom and gloom on Thursday evening.

We can't all be as amazing as you, mate. I'm sure you're a ball of positive energy when you hit those parties you talk of, no doubt when you make your grand entrance trough the rotting doors of the Swindon working man's club all the deformed locals cheer, I bet some of lights that haven't worked since the early 80's suddenly switch on, such is your positive magnetism.
"Hello ladies, Swindon Hammer is here, put your knickers back on. Barman, get these ladies a bottle of Blue Nun, and put some peanuts in a paper bowl for the lads. Let's ave' it!"

Took me a while to watch the whole things back not a phone. Things that stood out in no particular order.
Overall, we used our signings better (or at all) and players improved but we could have been punished early and shut up way too soon.
A healthy Scamacca is a striker you can run an attack around and a long shot keeps a defence honest. Great to see. Still need to be more clinical at points.
Soucek competed great in midfield, made some decent runs still killed some our attacks with key misplaced passes.
Bowen so much better, the finish was class and his runs terrify people, still making the wrong decision during a few.
Cresswell good when we had the ball, they should have attack him more but were always drifting central. Switched Traore there when he came on and we had a problem.
Kehrer is very cool with the ball, has recovery pace and great positioning. Premier League pace still surprises him at times and that will be worse out wide. Slight flashes of Kingsley Coman doing him for pace in the Champions League final.
Dawson great and refreshing for most of the game. Needed to man-mark Costa who was smartly peeling off to Kehrer at times include when he should have scored.
Paqueta, started or kept moving most of our attacks, Willing to press and fight and do some things that are often unnoticed. The speed still scares him, I think, too often takes the easy pass and is not trying the killer one enough. I can remember only once when he got caught and disposessed, so maybe a mental thing.
Rice up near his normal excellent level. Had a couple wobbles with the couple chances they had early but settled in.
Fornals passed well enough and pressed, still think he needs time in the centre and a defensive sub on the wing.
Antonio wasteful but put himself about.

That hilarious Eeyore!
You forgot to mention about our lucky win against Villa you Donkey. Have to keep mentioning that.
“Yeah I know we won but Hoofball, Wolves were bad, have to get better against Fulham, we were lucky against Villa last month and doom and gloom and doom and gloom etc etc”
You must be fun at parties (assuming you get invited to them) Eeyore.
“Yeah I know it’s someone’s birthday and it should be a positive thing but I need to find something to complain about, Music is not good enough, the food is not in the right formation, Doom & Gloom etc etc”

We've scored 5 goals so far this season in the league.
That's half the digits on one of your hands, Swindon.
