i started supporting west ham because of the boys around my local park did.i was 6.my 1st football memory the 2.2 draw with man utd when chapman and morley scored in 94.i begged my stepdad to take me for ages,but being a charlton athletic fan he was slightly reluctant.he finally cracked after months of pressure my first game was wimbledon at selhurst park in 94.lovely 1st venue and i cried because the 3 men behind me didnt stop swearing and i said i never wanted to go again.3 days later i went to my 1st game at upton park v notts forest when they were flying high with collymore and co.we smashed them and from then on i was hooked.he got me my 1st season ticket in the centenary upper in 96 and continued going until 2001 when he got a charlton season ticket because i was old enough to go with friends. i moved to the bobby moore lower in 2001 and left the for chav corner/centenary lower on 2006.i went 5-6 away games a season before 1999.then i started going to eveyone by club coach as i was only 14.im lucky that i had parents that picked me up off the coach from upton park at 2am on a tuesday morning after walsall away (live on sky aswel) otherwise i couldnt go.since 99 i have missed about 20away games in total (i dont go by thoughs shit coaches anymore and in seasons 2001 & 2005 i didnt miss any games).il do what ever it takes to follow the west ham and have cut holidays short/lost jobs and spent thousands apon thousands of pounds,usually watching complete shit.iv been just about everywhere and seen just about everything from 1.0 defeats at tranmere to 3.2 wins at arsenal.i was even given 7 chciken nuggets at mcdonalds after our 7.1 at man utd defeat instead of 6!!! cheeky cunt! i dont think il actually ever stop going as its like a drug.maybe the finace side will change when im married with kids but it will always be a priority of mine as much as eating and drinking is...iv made some wicked friends over upton park and a few that remain really close after a game against leeds away in 2000.IF YOU travel every away game or most i have no doubt id recognise your face and maybe you would recognise mine.i have a stupid amount of useless premirship football knowledge and i know every (yes every) west ham result from 93 onwards off the top of my head.if only i put this brain to good use during my gcse\\\\\\\'s id be earning 500\\\\\\\'000 a year now! but im not a book worm and i have a life away from football.i enjoy a good social life that involves going out most weekends after football.iv had a bird for 5years and iv just done the last 2 seasons in ibiza which were fucking crazy,3 months of getting nutted,although i came back from both seasons on the both fridays before wigan at home and wolves away!! .i also have a huge st georges cross banner reading \\\\\\\"BRENTWOOD\\\\\\\" with mine and my mates names on it. i also attend england games and charlton, as my dad still.has a season ticket and now he has one for both clubs.if whu are not on i sometimes go to the valley athough i have no affection for them and was glad to seem them go down. twice. its been emotional wrighting this and as my bird says,thankyou for finishing.
