Re: If we go down: Who Stays, Who Goes?

Six people want Kilman to stay? 😂👍     The title says who will stay, not who do people want to stay. Personally I feel Magassa, Fernandes, Paqueta, AWB, Wilson, Rodrigues, Bowen, Todibo, Areola, Diouf will all be gone if we go down. Shifting the likes of JWP (though I'm not sure how long is left on...

Re: The Sullivan out petition is going up in votes!

The petition only had 6500 or so before our first game, and that took nearly two months to get.  So the media will be right when they say people are only signing it now because of the poor results. Most of these people won’t turn up to the marches, especially if we now go on a good run of form.

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

The problem we have is that we see what happens when Paqueta doesn't get his move, and that is he rarely puts in a decent performance for two seasons. So, if that happens again this season we'll end having to carry him, with a weaker team than before. That's exactly what they'll want you to think.....

Re: Summer Transfer Window 2025 | Official Thread

how would selling Paqueta now impact any potential case we have against the FA? City were going to pay double what Villa are offering before this scandal blew up.......   What case do we have against the FA? They investigated the claims, as they're meant to. If you're talking about the time it took...

I doubt we’ll be buying Makau, as he was taken off on a stretcher in his last game.

Re: Potter Out

If the board are even considering getting rid of Potter soon, they should put a stop to all outgoings and no incomings that aren’t loans (with no obligation). Potter plays such an old dated formation you can’t let him build a squad in his image if he’s not going be here in a month.

Re: If we roll over and die early on Friday night………

Couldn’t make the game last night, but did it go a bit Burnley after all then? No… a young kid ran on after Chelsea scored, the stewards then tried to manhandle him off, which caused two blokes to run on to go after the stewards. Otherwise nothing happened. I didn’t hear any chanting directed towar...

I'm so glad we spent so much time getting a new keeper. Aerola would have had a clean sheet today. But hey, Hermansen can play with his feet, just can't save a ball. He has no reach.

Re: Kyle Walker-Peters signs

Excellent addition to the squad...but if he starts many games, we've gone wrong somewhere. Would expect Diouf, Scarles, Wan Bissaka and maybe even Summerville all ahead of him in the Wing Back roles. I think it will AWB and Diouf as our starters and KWP will be first back up. KWP is an ok signing b...

Re: Paqueta - Latest news

How is this still dragging on for a third pre season. The club should instruct solicitors to offer an ultimatum  of legal action if this isn't wrapped up before the season starts. Why has it taken so long? It shouldn't affect another season for the club or player, simply unfair on the club in parti...

Looks very good  https://youtu.be/roJGTcBHQTk?si=ajVKs-LSLMo8r-tm  Except his weakness is defending. Which is great for a defender. I didn't see the game but apparently he played really well against England and had Saka in his pocket and can also play as a cb, so he can't be that bad at defending. ...

Brighton have signed 2
Bournemouth 1
Leeds 2
Tottenham 1
Man City 4
Chelsea 4
Liverpool 2
Newcastle 1
Brentford 2
Man Utd 1
Wolves 1
Palace 1

Quite a few have done some business. Whether we rate the signings is another question.

Re: Squad Building for 25/26

It's a bit of a dick move not giving Cresswell one seeing he qualifies as he's been here 11 years. I don't agree. Testimonials were fine when players weren't earning much more than the fans in the stands. It was a nice retirement (from playing) bonus. They (current players)  may want the money, but...
