Re: Killiwise - The win killing clown.

There's a Kilman thread on X at the moment and among the inevitable abuse, 99% of the opinion is that he just isn't very good, just their kind of defender you DONT  need when in a relegation fight. Nuno also getting some clogged for his unfathomable tactic of bringing him on. The midfield needed flo...

For 55 minutes we bossed the midfield and the last 35 we just yielded it.

I think Areola has to do better on the third

If you're going to play a 4-4-2 as we are, you must have a second striker willing to put in a shift and do some hard running. Pablo does that extremely well. As many have pointed out, it's opening acres of space for Bowen and Summerville.

Really sad day. She was pure gold in Schitts Creek and everything by Christopher Guest. Don't normally care much about celebrity deaths but this one hurts.

Re: Winter '25/26 Transfer Rumours Thread

I’m willing to think this Disasi thing is a sort of “money ball” transfer.  in that he was sold to Chelsea for nearly 40m from Monaco so clearly was not shit. Then I hear both Chelsea and Villa played him at RB and his best position is CB.  So is he another mispriced asset? We’ve seen it with Linga...

Re: Adama Traoré | Signed

I think we have to look at this for what it is. He's not intended for the starting XI. He's here to provide some depth to a paper thin midfield. If we're comparing him to Antonio. I'd take Antonio from 5 years ago as a player off the bench for half a season. Nothing to write home about, but he stren...

My exact thoughts. At 31, he ain't playing for England or a top team again, and he's never going to see that kind of wedge again. Had to be a significant payout.

Re: Modern football fans.

I'd also argue it's modern football grounds. if it's anything like the trend here in the states, they are moving the boxes closer and closer to the field and putting in more of them. While it's always been the case that closer seats cost more, you also have "club seating" that costs quite ...

Are the English FA going to cover the other 40 million since we had him lined up with Man city before they rolled out their baseless investigation?
