Interesting now to see how Bibi is overtly programming Trump to put American boots on Iranian ground. It begins with Karl Island.

So far Israel has played a blinder. Aware that Iran’s stocks of retaliatory rockets and drones are not too depleted they chose yesterday to hit the Iranian gas field and got the hoped for response.
The gulf states are incensed at how Trump is so blatantly being played by Israel.

Re: US Politics Thread
Sadly for the USA the level of stupidity of its President grows day by day week by week. The situation that presents in the Persian Gulf is the obvious example of this stupidity. Trump is acting more like Frank Spencer than Forrest Gump in that the hapless Gump managed to make things overall better ...

Re: Premier league - worlds best league.
In their respective leagues Bayern and PSG do not really have another team that is a consistent threat. In La Liga Barca and RM only have one another as a consistent threat. The PL is different in that respect and the extra level of competitiveness takes its toll on a team the more so at the climax ...

Re: The Clyde Best Story
He was a big lad, tried hard and us supporters had an affection for him. However his first touch and overall maladroitness on the ball meant he would never become a top player. Ade Coker by comparison was a more polished player, having come through our junior ranks, but like Best did not have all th...

Re: Manuel and his latest mishap
There is a story about some posh young people, spending a weekend at Belvoir Castle, who were given four tickets to see Chelsea play a home game at Stamford Bridge, a four thirty kick off.
They jumped into their limo programmed the new fangled sat nav and ended up in a small village in Yorkshire.

The danger to society is not the profane, the misogynistic or racist terms that are posted and eliminating them is simply cleansing the rhetoric. No the danger is in the insidious use of lies, miss representation or deliberate suppression of facts and denigration of people who challenge challenge al...

I notice that missing from the stubbo list is an automatic flag for lies.
Is this because lies do not matter, that lying is such common currency it’s irrelevant or even that it’s a mistake to take a liar’s words literally?

Disagree with you Onebilly because the big winner from what is going on will be ……….Israel.
In fact all of what has been going on regarding the Gulf has been steered by Isreal. So clever have they been that really astute people like you and Trump have been fooled.

It is interesting to see Trump now firmly in the pocket of Bibi.
This venture into Iran is where Trump has jumped the shark and it’s good to see the rest of nato staying firm in readiness but not getting dragged into this illegal enterprise.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Scum, that link you posted up shows how the FPP system can be hijacked. This problem can be mitigated by having a PR system for Westminster votes. It beggars belief that at a moment in time when the imbalance at Westminster is so stark the electorate, and politicians alike, are not clamouring for a ...

Re: Restore Britain - Rupert Lowe
Perceptions vary person to person.
I see both Reform and Restore as basically the same party that used to be UKIP.
As for the Tories with the nastier element deserting them for R and R they are struggling to reposition themselves and retain credibility. They are somewhat stuck in a bind.

Re: Still Holding the Line 4 years on. Russia Ukraine
Let’s not be mealy mouthed about what the “West” did in the time up to Putin’s invasion the fact of the matter is that a virtual dictatorship has invaded a democratic country and holds a significant amount of territory. Putin was under no military threat whatsoever from Ukraine or NATO but as a nucl...

Re: West Ham vs Bournemouth | PL | 21.2.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
Two teams in the PL are unbeaten in their last six league games they being ManU and Bournemouth. In our quest to avoid relegation we have drawn with both teams during their runs. Those games would earlier in the season have been defeats so maybe it’s two points gained rather than being lost. Notwith...
