Re: Nuno Out
I think we may have got here faster if he done some proper analysis of our games and our players instead of working it out for himself. Maybe he did and realised we needed some new players. It's not a coincidence that our fortunes have turned around since getting in two hard working forwards and ...

They have Roberto De Zerbi lined up by all accounts... Home in the south of France or Edmonton. I know what I’d prefer. on another note, silly Manc bint covered in beer. https://x.com/chickenrunwhufc/status/2021518066581123379?s=48&t=j_6ovCOILLyivIiub-Hq_g This generation baffles me, who in t...

Keeping with the spirit of this site, Sullivan and Nuno were responsible for the equaliser and Soucek was lucky with his goal.

Re: Stubbornness — on all sides
Atmosphere has little to do with ground or ownership. There have been some noisy games at the London Stadium under the current owners and a flat atmosphere at Upton Park under previous owners. We are as guilty as almost every other team of sing when you're winning. If the current ownership had sp...

Our billionaire owners, like the rest of the Premier League owners (sportswashing aside), are only interested in making money out of the club. Given their acess to capital and financial advisors, it's amazing that the armchair experts on this site can identify ways to increase profits that they can...

What is criminal is the club punting out band 5 tickets against Man united for £60. If we fail to get a result tomorrow I can't imagine there will be too many takers for those on a likely wet and late Tuesday night Man Utd tickets sold out last Tuesday so the Burnley result has no impact on sale...

Shows the importance of strength in depth. When Chelsea were two down, they could replace the entire left side with £150m worth of talent. When our first choices get knackered, the options are kids, has beens and failures.

There's no place for such a reasoned post on this forum WhereDoesThisEnd. Don't you understand that Sullivan is on the verge of being hounded out under a barage of balloons and red cards. Once he's gone we will be taken over by an East End barrow boy made good who will invest billions. Upton Park...

New player comes in. Starts two games. We win two games. Conclude he is absolute gash. What was another thread saying about modern football fans?
Re: Nuno Out
We will see if this new coach makes any difference soon enough. Should be evident within 5 games but probably too late anyway and besides it will only prove what a few of us are suspecting that Nuno, like Moyes, was only as good as is back room staff. ? That would highlight clear failings in mana...

How's that going to happen? Is he going to meet Sullivan's valuation for his shares or has he reached an agreement with the Gold family for theirs?

RIP Alex. Thank you for all you did to set this site up. Sad that there are so many on this thread who no longer post. Sensible contributors have been driven away by the constant bickering, name calling and repitition from the dozen or so who live their lives through this site.

Re: Swiss ski resort fire
I was in that part of the world just before Christmas. I am no fan of our health and safety culture stifling personal risk taking, but at the same time I did notice in several places around Switzerland and southern Germany that they do things that we wouldn't allow here. So when you see things like...

You cannot have any confidenence we will not concede another 2 or 3 with our defence esp with a left side of Kilman, Scarles and Paqueta. As the game goes on Brighton will bring on subs as players tire. We only have Summerville unless Nuno sees the sense in bringing the energy of Mayers and Earth...

Everything about this club under Sullivan’s stewardship is two bob shite. And look at the fucking state of the team it delivers. Sadly, this is not true. Our current predicament would, in some ways, be more tolerable if it were the case. Over the last 10 years, we've been the 7th highest spenders...

naive or optimistic?
If Sullivan isn't selling with a Premiership valuation, what makes you think he would sell with a lower valuation in the Championship?
