Not seen Christine but enjoyed the book. The Stand another decent read was awful, should never have got further than the editing stage. The most successful adaptation of an SK book was the Green Mile, hands down the best film version of anything he's written.
People go a bit overboard about Shawshank redemption being the best film ever made, but it's objectively miles ahead of Green Mile imo

Can't really watch anything IT related as the book was so good. I dont often compare books to tv/film adaptations but this was a special case, I'm a massive fan of the novel.
Nearly finished Mr Mercedes I think it helps if you are familiar with Kings writing. Without such knowledge i can see whyvsome saw it as becoming a bit daft but pretty much par for the course for SK.
Will watch the final episode of 'The Abandons' later, really enjoyed it so far.
Misery ...stand by me and Salem's lot were the only successful films /TV series that stood up from the books.
The Stand the worst
Shawshank Redemption, Carrie, and and The Shining were all decent. I even liked Dr Sleep

I also loved the original film of The Dead Zone

watched first couple of Welcome to Derry, enjoyable if you like classic King (its a prequal to IT)
never knew it existed but season 2 has been given the go ahead
Will take a look
Sounds right up my street. Will give it a go tonight.
IT Welcome to Derry is a bit slow paced and full of boring shit but it's ramped up a bit now Pennywise is in full view.

Watched first episode of All Her Fault and I'm immediately hooked.
I can see why people might not like The Iris Affair but overall I thought it was really good.

Mr Mercedes season 1, very good, started season 2 and without giving the spoiler away, if it doesn't change quickly, I'm done with it, as it's gone stupid.
I binned s2 after one episode. It was dogshit.
really liked season 2, its no more silly that any other supernatural thing, but admittedly the change is jarring at first. It is King though so what did you expect, especially if you're familiar with the books
I've stuck with season 2.

A little late to the party, but am a couple of episodes into Black Doves.
Rather surprisingly I'm quite enjoying it.
It doesn't last.
All men are lying, cheating cunts and all women and gays are great. I lost interest.
