NFL (since 2016)

"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."

"don't get me wrong, I like eric as a person but he's very different to rivera, and the players may have been spoilt with ron's easy going nature. It's probably why some are still whining. your game should be good tonight, I think you cause an upset."

"Oh, don't get me wrong: Bieniemy has to learn to run the ball. It's nuts how lop-sided Washington are. I know it's a QB-throwing league these days - and he got spoiled with Mahomes and Reid's excellent leadership in Kansas. But you're right: you have to still run the ball, have some balance and keep the defense honest. I thought Saleh was a bit over-rated after his first year in charge of the Jets as HC. In fairness, you and others said 'give him time' - and he has certainly sorted out our defense, which is now play-off quality. It's just that our offense is weapons-grade shite without a decent QB, some linemen and an OC with a playbook you can understand. Saleh came good, defensively, and I'd hate to see him go now. Hopefully Bieniemy can do something similar with your offense with a bit of time (but Rivera has to go anyway, surely)? But he has to run the ball, granted."

"SB, there's just no balance to his scheme. sam has sometimes thrown over fifty times in a game and the running plays have been just over single figures. It's not as if we don't have any talent at RB, he just won't change and it's amazing how well howell's doing under so much pressure. as I said earlier, a lot of the locker room had a problem with him in pre-season and today one of the best reporters said the problem remains with many not happy that he has so much say (assistant head coach as well as OC). apparently he also had a tear up with del rio last night, no idea if that led to deal too being fired this afternoon? who knows, maybe jack said ""run the fucking ball"" üòÇ. playing in this one dimensional styles it must be very easy to plan against, so it's a miracle sam's kept us competitive in many games. clearly rivera should have gone too, they all should go but for now the car crash is being extended"

"TM - surely they have to move on from Rivera now? He just looks so clueless. On Eric B, I'd say stick with him and maybe see how he goes under a new HC. I know he's got the assistant's role in Washington, so he has some influence now, but a new head coach changes many dynamics: including your OC role. Bieniemy hasn't exactly pulled up any trees, granted, but my gut feeling is that he's probably a solid OC even if he's not going to oversee a Reid/Mahomes offense. You could do a lot worse - our OC was employed purely to lure his mate, Rodgers, to the Jets. Rodgers goes down with achilles knack and, suddenly, we're finding out that the new OC runs a painfully complex offense that only Rodgers really understands! It's now easily the worst offense in the NFL, despite the fact that we have Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall: two superb weapons."

"yes, joe was involved quite a bit with the new ownership group and may be a minor investor. I checked what the average points against were after last night, it's 29. even the greatest rookie qbs of all time (and it's still sam's first year of playing) would struggle putting up thirty points every game, and especially with an OC that refuses to run the ball. I like rivera as a person but the locker room was giving off had vibes in pre-season moaning to the press about bienemy. ron's probably a soft touch and it's why they're so inconsistent"

"Miike I never thought I'd look at at 45-10 thumping as some kind of let-off. I gave up on the season after week -5. In weeks 2-5 Washington conceded 35, 37, 31 and 40 points, not the sign of a competitive sports team. And the 40 was laid on us by a Chicago team that had 16 straight defeats. I yearn to watch some meaningful football in December. Is Joe Gibbs still alive?"

"oh dear, we've got the dolphins at home next weekend and the way we're defending it could be 50+ points conceded. I know firings won't be an instant cure, but harris really needs to restore some goodwill and at least appear to be aware of what's happening. this season has shown why bienemy never got that year coach role and with its clear andy reid called the shots in kansas"

"They normally throw it straight into the stand FC, but the league then allowed the QB to spike at his feet to stop the clock. Even then the Redskins QB (Patrick Ramsey I think) manage to miss the ground and hit his own foot and the ball becomes live as it is regarded as a fumble, the 'skins lost possession and the game. Miike I feel your pain, I think I'll still watch it though. Just to see how many points Dallas can get and any new ways the 'skins can manage to find to fuck it up"

"I thought if the QB wants to stop the clock, he throws to the WR who has to go out of bounds with the ball?"

"tonight may be the first time in four decades of watching the redskins that I don't care what happens. The best thing may well be dallas battering us, as harris seems to be oblivious to the disgraceful standard of coaching"

"I'm not sure FC. Don't they spike the ball at their feet to stop the clock It was a seriously bit of bad play, if the Giant defender hadn't intercepted it I'm not sure the ball would of reached the sideline anyway."

In the 41-years that the NFL has been on the TV in the UK I have never seen a QB throw an interception while trying to throw the ball out-of-bounds. Until last Sunday. The absolute cսnt.

"the honeymoon period for our new owners is officially over. questionable trades, dragging their feet over getting rid of poor coaches and being linked to a control freak like belichik which will just prolong the pain. harris really needs to get his head out of his arse and look to the future, no some seventy plus year old coach that has done nothing as a HC without brady"

"Zach Wilson has officially been relegated to #3 QB on the Jets roster for this weekend's game - behind complete nobodies Tim Boyle and Trevor Siemian. Boyle was picked up to throw to back-up receivers on the team's 'rest' days and will now start! He has 3 TDs and 9 interceptions from his Detroit days. Effectively, it makes Wilson the fourth choice QB at the Jets - with Rodgers likely to return in the new year even if he never plays another snap in New York. Surely the end for the kid from BYU? He will go somewhere else at the end of the season and become a back-up - which is probably what he needs."

"How about them Niners! Purdy with a perfect QB rating! Aiyuk playing lights out, Kittle showing up and CMC is the cherry on top, oh almost forgot, we got a Deebo in our back pocket too. Then there's the Defense, what a dream team! Hawks up on Thanksgiving, looking forward to some good food, a couple of Jameson's on the rocks and some good football and Friday off of course. Then Saturday night my boys are playing in the CIF final, Mission Viejo high school V Servite! What a week of football!"

You should all die of shame if you don't Burnsie. Lost our QB and best WR last night and still should have won - missed a last gasp field goal
