"Been through bad time lately with suffering with this. Dark thoughts as well. I know some posters on here suffer with this. Anyone come through the other side of this shit?
"A number of posters have been yellow carded and told to stay off this thread unless they have anything constructive to add. This is a thread that has been very useful to so many, for any other posters with scores to settle, argue on another thread. This thread is sacrosant.Thank you"

"Not hard to see how 'no mates' got his nom de guerre. If anyone needed help, it's him. I'm not going to cսnt him off any more on this thread as he's muddled at best and suffering PTSD at worse Every time he opens his mouth he seems to put his foot in it. Go with God kid but a bit of grace wouldn't go amiss."

"Fair enough alfs. Imo If it helps norm to have a rant on here then it’s in the spirit of the thread. Anyway, no WHOer, regardless how troubled, would pay attention to a pissed up norm in headwand mode"

It might be good for him to log on whilst sober and read back some of the embarrassing shit he posts on here.

"bruuuno wrote... If people don’t like what Norman has to say then how about don’t read it? I think the point is that this is a thread specifically about users feeling anxious and depressed. Someone jumping on here, calling people out and telling them to grow up and man up is only going to make their feelings of anxiety and depression worse. Given that we've lost 2 posters on here very recently through either drinking themselves to death, or topping themselves, it makes it more than a bit cunty. Not sure why that is so hard to understand. It also makes norm look a complete bellend and is massively cringey."

"Westham67 wrote... alfs my mate did the same on his 19th birthday in his old mans cam 4/11/85 My brother did it 2 years ago. He was a tree surgeon and had a yard down in Kent (he worked for years in Scandinavian forests, so I don't think he was the type to wear an arctic parka at +6). He had a lad working for him chopping logs - turned up on a saturday, told the lad that he'd had a bit of bad news, and sent him home. Looks like he spent some considerable time adapting his exhaust manifold in the truck with a hosepipe running to a drilled hole in the dashboard. Then he lay down on the front seats, using his 6 year old daughter's child seat as a head rest. His mate found him 3 days later. My mum took it badly - never really opened up to anyone about it and within a year had been diagnosed with Cancer. She died a very painful and traumatic death a couple of months later. That's a cheery little story for a Thursday morning. On a positive noteits good to see that norm's 'dealing with it yourself' method is working well for him. Haven't seen a drunken rant from him in a long time. Oh..."

"Norman - you’re clearly troubled. No one is judging you, people deal with their issues in different ways. Hopefully you’ll open up and reach out to get the help you need. Nothing wrong with saying you’re struggling, half the people on this thread have done it."

""". Its a load of shite.. All down to you.. And you alone... find your sanctuary"" Yeah, I remember going to identify my brother's body and being really grateful that he realised it was all down to him, and him alone - right up until he gassed himself."
