Got 6 games between now and the FA Cup 3rd round.
Villa (H)
Man City (A)
Fulham (H)
Brighton (H)
Wolves (A)
Forest (H)
Really need to start winning some games.
7 points, I reckon

I don't think anyone would have foreseen one solitary point from that run of fixtures, such is the slump under this dreadful manager.
I'm pragmatic and realistic in my predictions and even I predicted we would get 8 points from those 6 games.
1 point should be a sackable offence, as should 2 wins in 16 with a 12% win ratio, and no wins in 9 away games, but the idiot Sullivan will no doubt dig his heels in as he won't want to pay off two managers in a season.

Absolutely can see us losing to Wolves.
If anything epitomised our current situation, it would be defeat to Wolves on Sunday.
Nailed on.

Forest
Poor this season but they have some decent players that can damage us

QPR (FAC)
Rested players, 9000 qpr fans at the shithole taking the piss

These last 2 games against very winnable opposition both at Home and we couldn't win 1 of them and were even fortunate in the end to get a draw tonight. Some were calling them must win games yet they're now gone. Inexcusable not to win at least one of them.

Good god, with two of these games remaining, it’s been worse than I expected.
Still a chance to salvage the 7 points I predicted with a couple of wins, but honestly cannot see it.
A miracle that we’re still in touch.

We will learn a lot about the character of this squad in the next few weeks that's for sure.
I'm keeping the faith and can only hope it's not blind faith.
Two wins and a draw from the next three home games.plus a point at Wolves
Lose to QPR in the cup before drawing at Tottenham

I don't see safety being that high this season. Could be around the 34/36 mark. Don't see it being as high as 40.
For it to be 34 then Forest would have to rack up only 16 points in their last 21 games, Leeds 15 - unless we're the ones who finish 18th.
It's possible if their form collapses but as it stands they are both on for 40 points or more.
I do expect them to have a drop off in picking up points themselves at some point, if that's going to be good enough for us to survive we can only hope..
Long way to go yet.

For good or bad, we're definitely gonna know by 6 January. So that will shape the transfer window. So I can't see anything happening before then, except getting rid of more deadwood. if we get the points we'll go all out for reinforcements I think. If not, it's a firesale.
But we're going to be ok. Aren't we? 9 points.

Face it there is no way on earth we will get 9 wins to get to 40 points over the next 19 games. Next season we can look forward to the visits of Hull, Swansea and newly promoted Lincoln or Stevenage perhaps. Games to get the blood pumping in front of sell out crowds of well err 35,000 or a full Upton Park, oh the irony of that. A lot to look forward to without doubt.

Wolves are gifting almost everyone a six point leg up. I think that means a much higher points total than normal will be needed for us to stay up.
Everyone bar the bottom 3 is running over a point per game
The only way the survival line stays low is if we stay low.

As mentioned below, it largely comes down to home form for me. Improve it dramatically we stay up. But it seems being at home does not suit Nuno’s tactics since teams we will need to beat tend will be happy sitting in deeper and our criminal lack of central attacking options and general lack of proven goalscorers ( im looking at you Summerville, midfielders ) outside of Bowen and occasionally Wilson, means we struggle to break them down and / or take enough of the chances we do create.
Combine that with a central defence that always gives up a goal or two ( Kilman the main culprit but not alone).
Cannot see us having enough and by the time Sullivan brings anyone in it will be Feb

C. They still managed to beat us this season at their place, so there's a good chance it could happen again especially with our form also plummeting since. They know how to beat this Team.
