On an article somewhere I came across Bone Tomahawk so it being a Kurt Russell western, so I thought, I gave it a go last night.  WTF?!?!

In a good or bad way? never seen it myself!

It's a fantastic film. 

It's alright..
But these two are embarrassing with the over the top lingo .two rich men pretending they're still one of the chaps...

Marching Powder looks good. I'm wondering if it will make the cinemas in Asia or go straight to DVD.

Saw a trailer for a new film called Marching Powder starring Danny Dyer and directed by Nick Love.

Seems a bit like a comedy version of the Football Factory. Looked a bit naff to be honest, but might appeal to a few on here.




 

Taking the missus to see this tomorrow.

Yeah, Bone Tomahawk is great. The same writer/director also made Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete which are worth checking out if anyone's not seen them. 

dragged across concrete is GIBSONs finest  effort IMO.

Bone Tomahawk is quality.

Noted that quite a few Gene Hackman films are now free to view on various platforms.  On the Hackman thread RBshorty mentioned Hoosiers of which I hadn't really heard of.  Not a basketball fan at all but must say I enjoyed it so well worth a watch.  The great Dennis Hopper co-stars.

WAtched Presence last night. I do get annoyed with this camera techique. It's not a jump out of your skin horror but quite good.

Watched The Gorge last night.  Was quite fun. 

The Gorge just felt like I was watching a platform game and had to google that it wasn't.

Heart Eye's drifted on far too long in places with no real action. 

Both are watchable if, like me, you are currently stuck indoors. But they aren't that good. 

Council-  Heart Eyes is supposed to be a Rom Com/ Horror, You don't usually get a lot of action in Rom Coms. 

I want people getting killed regularly in slasher films mate. Not scene after scene of fuck all happening.

There's only one movie to watch right now after Winnie The Pooh Blood and Honey 1 and 2

Watched The Brutalist at the weekend, Guy Pearce was super in the supporting role but jeez did they not have a cutting room as it seems to go on forever, 7.5/10 though but have plenty of coffee on standby to avoid drifting off

Has a Holocaust connection so for sure will win at the Oscars big time oln Sunday.
