Good news nuts .
I've been waiting to hear about Sicario 3

Both 1&2 were proper films.
I like  Josh Brolin when he sticks to what he does best.

He didn’t direct the second one, and reckon he’ll be up to his eyeballs with the third Dune.

Shame though, fantastic director.

Watched The Monkey last night. Was entertaining but I was a little disapointed for a King/Wan collaboration and had high expectations.  Probaly give it 6.5/10.

Saw Bonhoeffer yesterday. It was a bit disappointing in that bits of it were factually inaccurate, but it was generally ok if you like biographical movies.

Saw a trailer for a new film called Marching Powder starring Danny Dyer and directed by Nick Love.

Seems a bit like a comedy version of the Football Factory. Looked a bit naff to be honest, but might appeal to a few on here.



 

Taking the missus to see this tomorrow.

On an article somewhere I came across Bone Tomahawk so it being a Kurt Russell western, so I thought, I gave it a go last night.  WTF?!?!

In a good or bad way? never seen it myself!

It's a fantastic film. 

It's alright..
But these two are embarrassing with the over the top lingo .two rich men pretending they're still one of the chaps...

Yeah, Bone Tomahawk is great. The same writer/director also made Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete which are worth checking out if anyone's not seen them. 

dragged across concrete is GIBSONs finest  effort IMO.

It's a good film, but one particular scene, let's just say I am glad I wasn't eating my dinner!

Bone Tomahawk is quality.

Noted that quite a few Gene Hackman films are now free to view on various platforms.  On the Hackman thread RBshorty mentioned Hoosiers of which I hadn't really heard of.  Not a basketball fan at all but must say I enjoyed it so well worth a watch.  The great Dennis Hopper co-stars.
