"No 1 - Band of Brothers No 2 - The Wire (pretty obvious, but some superb characters) If season 3 and 4 of Gomorrah (already commissioned) are as good as the first two, it will probably be overtaking The Wire."

what is your top 2 then if Gomarrah is 3.

"No, they're two completely different things I believe. Or at least looking at the films cast of characters it is. The programme is amazing."

Does one have to have seen Gomorrah the film before the series?

"I struggled a bit with Hannibal but managed to finish it. Narcos is the best thing I've seen in years. Not watching anything at the mo. I won't watch something just for the sake of it, and nothing out there appeals to me much right now. Also don't like starting anything more than 3 seasons in as it's a lot of catch up. Need to see House of Cards season 4 at some point. Gave up on the walking dead after the last season."

Yeah I wasn't sure about Hannibal and gave it up on the last series and I have so much time on my hands that I literally never give anything up!! GoT is the bollocks of you like that sort of thing.

"Talking about stuff that's been done, I've just got into Homeland. Really enjoyed the first series The second is not of the same quality at all but still very watchable. I have added The Missing and Rectify to my list. Not so sure that Stranger Things, Outcast and Slasher are really my cup of char but will probably give them a look, so cheers to all for the recommendations."

The fourth and final season of Rectify started last week. Still up to its usual amazingly high standard. Nobody watches it except TV critics.

Preacher is excellent
