"Just finished The Killing liked it a lot but not really the last season as much. Breaking Bad, Homeland done Was going to do Luther or The Wire next - can you tell me which one is best of the two?"

"claret, I love/d the wire and luckily, in my opinion, you still have the best season (four) to come"

"I'm on the third box set of the Wire, love the show, really gritty, good stories and you really get to know the characters. Obviously it's TV but if you are born american and black in Baltimore your basically fucked."

"Grumpster 9:56 Fri Jul 10 Yeah I believe it was a BBC jobbie. The book was pretty cool I thought. Really quirky, humourous, and plain weird in places, so hopefully the series does it justice."

"If you can get it on Netflix using a proxy server like Unblock US, then I would recommend House of Lies, very funny and cynical portrayal of a Management Consultancy firm starring Don Cheadle and the amazingly gorgeous Kristen Bell (i would drink her bathwater) Its also filthy as fuck. Also, Parks and Recreation is brilliant (after the first season), as is 30 Rock which is one of the funniest series I have ever seen."

"I found it hard getting motivated for Hannibal, but then for both series, once I got into it I whizzed through them and liked it. Very dark indeed. Seen some great series the past few months in Ray Donovan, banshee and justified (justified probably my favourite as Boyd is a superb bad boy), but none to break into the obvious all time top 3 of band of brothers, sopranos and the wire. Still disgracefully not seen breaking bad :o( A right cսnt that you can't download Netflix like sky, or I'd hammer it on the train."

"Has anyone seen all of Hannibal, and if so how good is it? I liked True Detective 1, even though it obviously lifts its themes from one of my favourite writers Thomas Ligotti. Series 2 I haven't seen. I watch almost no TV but saw Fortitude. It gets a 7 out of 10 for me (for me this is a very good score, most tv gets 1 out of 10). The scenes with Tucci and Dan Anderson steal it though."

Hairy if you've got Netflix give White Collar a go. Quirky clever series I think

"Just watched the first ever episode of Mad Men. I take it it gets better, as very underwhelming and if that's it's general standard, I won't bother with anymore?"

Sub - But they are 25 mins episodes. I know what you mean though. Anything over 3 seasons in and I see it as too much to watch.

"I thought it was average Jonah (this is the programme that was in BBC right?), but everyone has different tastes with tv. Some oddballs like towie."
