On the face of it, seems like a crazy signing, the usual short sighted, doesn't fit requirements we need buy.

However, at this point, who gives a fuck.

Let's just hope this Castellanos fella and that Pablo Felipe fella have something about them.

It's a massive risk to lay out so much dough (for us) on two Latin forwards who have never played in the Premier League before.

Seems madness to me, Lazio fans and all the Serie A pundits say he is massivly overpriced.  We look dead and buried, £23m to be sold for £15m in a few months time.

I'd rather put the cash towards two or three champ players in the summer.
Penny wise. Pound stupid. Doesn’t much sound like a Sully Special Signing.!

Might as well just surrender and  sell them Bowen as well, then they'll have our 3 best players! Tremendous.

I want to thank everyone for this time together and for all the affection I received. Now I move on to another challenge in my career, taking with me everything I lived here and with the certainty that good things are ahead. Grateful for everything. Once a Hammer

Add to the fact that neither could get a gig in the PL this season after leaving speaks volumes about the quality or absolute lack of, of both Kilman and Mav. We’d have been no worse of turning out two ‘over the hill’ full backs deemed not good enough to be at the club.
The comment was about the character of the players, as in senior and experienced.
I know but it also sadly applies in terms of talent vs our current special needs class of centre backs as well.

There are numerous senior players at the club but they've all fallen by the wayside in recent months.

The keeper and the centre backs aren't kids. JWP, Soucek, Rodriguez are seniors. So are Fulkrug, Wilson, Paqueta and Bowen.

Quite why they aren't bringing an influence to bear is anyone's guess.

Falling out with whoever is the manager this week seems to be one reason, being shunted out of the team is another.

Normally, I dont care going down, but this time I do. We have the bones of a very good young side. Some of those younger players have international careers to think about, so playing in the second division (Championship) wont be for them. Sullivan has no sentiment for the club, just his wallet

Bloke clearly has a very advantageous contract, or some kind of masochistic tendency.

But as others have said....without having a player or players to lead the team on the field and frankly to properly influence the referee, and a central defender to actually organise the defence, there can be little hope of improvement.

For this reason I can't see a 23 year old Charlie Cresswell being the solution. At 23 unless he's some personality, feels unlikely he's going to come in and start calling the shots in a league which is a step up for him.

What a clustrlerfuck this squad has been allowed to become.  Potter getting rid of anyone who remotely.had a backbone also looking appalling.

He did, indeed, Coufal, Cresswell, Emerson, and Alverez on loan

If Traore is off we should look at a similar player
What is Usain Bolt up to these days?

Personally I’d be looking at players to use in the Championship
Cresswell as a young English centre half would be one
Some players … Bowen, Paqueta, AWB will be off but I’d be looking to build the team around young players who should be told they are staying … Fernandes Magassa Potts Earthy Diouf Kante Scarles Casey Marshall Pablo

We might have to pay someone to take Kilman

He is utter fucking shit! Only at West Ham are we even considering this donkey but then again we do have Nunothing in charge and a div of an Owner so go figures.. 🤦‍♂️

If we had to spend half decent money on a new Forward then I would go for Sterling out of the two if we must. They both tend to play in Bowens position anyway though so don't get the necessity of such a signing. Typical Nuno logic though. 🤪

After todays fiasco if Sullivan had any sense (which of course he hasn’t) he’d put away his cheque book and cancel any pending purchases.
We’re going down and no amount of money is going to change that fact.
