Not my first choice, wish we were more forward looking and all that. But he's here, and to be honest, he's probably what we need given everything we all know is wrong with the club and the team at present.

Positives are he was a goalkeeper, so he'll surely make the best decision on that front going forward. Hermansen has looked shocking, but those that had watched him regularly all rated him, so who knows, maybe in a different set up he might not be so bad, but expect Areloa to be first choice.

Brought Kilman into the Wolves team, and built him into a player we were stupid enough to pay £40mil for. Can't see if myself, but maybe he'll make him look competent, whatever way, the defence will improve under him. It can't not. And set pieces against us won't feel like penalty's.

He favours attacking fullbacks who get forward, and ours are suited to that. JWP won't start from now. The biggest positive of this appointment. He loves wingers, and we have one of the best in the league in Bowen, a rapid one in Summerville, and Guilherme will hopefully get some game time as back up in a style that will suit him. Fullkrug can maybe be our Chris Wood. Probably not, but lets hope so.

Ovbviously he's a counter attacking manager, but I don't think he's from the last 2 years of Moyes playbook. Hopefully it'll be the early version of Moyes, with quicker pressing and faster counter attacking. Let's fucking hope so. I remember Forest beating someone 7-0, and they scored loads of goals throughout the season.

The main problem remains, but fucking hell, this change was needed.

Yeah, after all the dust has cleared I kind of agree. It’s like we just didn’t know what to do anymore. Initially the game started with us having lots of posession, I think we had an attack early doors because we pressed them. But then it’s like we almost had too much of the ball, didn’t know what to do with it and started giving the ball away or getting pickpocketed. And then you could see the confidence just drain out of us. Maybe the players realised they were lost as well and we shat the bed. All unforced errors by us. 

when I saw Bowen give the ball away twice ​​​​​in a few minutes I kind of knew we were fucked. 

If Forest do that to us, and we haven’t a plan it’s going to be a nightmare. 

He's mugging off Sullivan...which is very good.
unfortunately by default he's mugging off loyal hardcore WHU...which is definitely not on.

We had all the possession we wanted. But Nuno does not have us playing like that, with possession and breaking down a well organised defense. Add to that we could not defend against a counter attack when we were committed forward. All our half decent performances have been against teams that came at us. Difference with Dyche is that the team he has at Forest is essentially the exact same team that were in the CL places for a lot of last season. 

West Ham hasn’t been a well functioning team in the league for over 3 yrs. The “good times” included some big name players, Rice, Emerson, Fabianski etc so many have gone. 
Up until last week we were a top 20 world football  club with 1 senior striker who was on a pay as play deal and is 33yrs old with a history of bad injuries!

Thats how different the West Ham problem is compared to Forest. It really is a rebuild, not a tweak to get us back to greatness 

that’s not excusing any batshit crazy decisions from Nuno and that fuck up of a wolves game either. But it’s a whole different problem to forest or even Leeds who have at least played well as a unit to get back in the PL. We haven’t consistently played well in years. 



 

Forest now also on a bad run, desperate themselves for a result. West Ham recently got Liverpool up and running again and even Wolves last Saturday.  Sorry, the script is already written.

I have to say it is quite a change to have a manager who does actually buy forwards.
