Totally ruined the penthouse suite view from the Boleyn Road flat too.
Surprised Sky Sports didn't offer to use their balcony as a gantry for Neville and Carragher to commentate from at one point.

We...or most certainly I...didn't really notice the changes in Green Street as We/I rarely if ever patronised any of the shops along the road.
On match days, when most of us visited the area, the pavements between Barking Road & the station were lined with hawkers flogging West Ham stuff, at which point I/We started looking about.

Seems to me that all these new shiny things are somewhat soulless.
Magnificent 'venues' maybe, but they just lack the identity and connection that something that has grown with a fan base over time has.

I believe 1 day it will be somewhere purpose built and more appropriate, this is just a temporary thing. Or at the very least on the same site rebuilt. Based on fuck all but a gut feeling.
