Graham Potter.
Retrospectively.

Re: Nuno Out
I think you're going a bit too deep into this particular point, but crack on.
Re: Nuno Out
Given he never takes him off, and he's been our best player and main goal threat for years, I think it's safe to say you've got that one wrong.

I don't blame him directly for that game Russ, but that doesn't not take away from the fact that he truly is our worst signing ever.

Re: Killiwise - The win killing clown.
No way Gary, our problem at the back is mostly balls into the box because of our general lack of aerial prowess, sticking in a kid who is barely 6ft definitely not the answer.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We ain't catching anyone, the positivity on here before yesterday's game, for a team with the worst defence in the league (a league that includes Wolves) is astounding. We have the shittest centre backs in the league, the best of the 3 is now gonna miss the next 3 games, the keeper can't catch a foo...

Re: Killiwise - The win killing clown.
Stubbo, that is where stats give you false answers to the reality of the eye test. Stats do not cover heart, desire and defensive nous. There is not a stat out there that will explain him playing on the left of 3 centre backs, and watching a young academy product getting ripped apart by Salah on the...

Re: Alphonse Areola
Never been a fan, to be honest, I'd stick Fabianski in at this point. Never a fan of keepers who make the Hollywood saves, but fail at the basics. All PL level keepers can make unbelievable saves, you want someone who can organise a defence and catch the fucking ball.

Re: Chelsea vs West Ham | PL | 31.1.26 | Predictions & Match Thread
The first goal could've been avoided with a pro active keeper. Once that went in, we definitely needed to change it up, but the change should've been to flood the midfield with legs, Soucek and Pablo off, Magassa & Potts on. They had no pressure whatsoever on their midfielders, who were dictatin...

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
I think there are some seriously harsh assessments of this lad.
Not gonna be a world beater, but I reckon he'll end up being a very good striker for us.

Re: Adama Traoré | Signed
Let's be honest, when he's coming on as sub for his debut, there will be a lot of excitement in the air from our fans ,and the opposition will be nervous. He will help us get up the pitch later on in games, which is something we've really struggled with once Bowen and Jimmy tire. Getting in someone ...

Re: Pablo- is he absolute gash?
Still only just turned 22, not playing in his exact position, I think he's done OK. He went toe to toe with Ballard at times, I think we've got someone who is going to get much better, because he's clearly got the inner spirit. I'd adjust the roles of him and Taty if I'm honest, think we'd get more ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
I don't necessarily disagree, Rossal. I'd love us to be a club who identifies these managers that pop out of nowhere, but if we sacked him, it'd be more of the same.
Funny enough, if we somehow manage to stay up, I reckon he'd turn us into a top half team.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
A team that had our best keeper for 20 years in goal, a strong defence, the current best midfielder in the Premier League protecting them. We currently have the brainless AWB, Mavro, Todibo who can't head the football, and 2 young left backs. Then why were we so shit over the first 23 games? You ca...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Love the positivity. Of course hope you're all right. Just not seeing it myself, and we've got to play all of the top 6 teams in the league. So many variables are different compared to in the past for me, and the teams we've overtaken in the past have been proper pony, I don't see anyone like that...

Here's Season 22/23: After 23 Matches ... 2223Matchday23.png And after 38 Matches , 2223Final.png To compare to our current season, over the final 15 games we made up: - 10 points over Leicester - 11 points over Leeds - 6 points over Forest - 8 points over Chelsea So these big point swings are more...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Why are we so shit then? Why have we only got 20 points? Why can't we keep a clean sheet? Why can't we beat Fulham at home? Why did Wolves muller us 3-0? Still, always good to be optimistic. Let's hope history from 20 years ago repeats itself. Hopefully they start selling £3 pints at the stadium, re...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
It was a very different league back then, nearly 20 years ago, it's completely changed. Every team has structures and systems, and £30mil+ signings. We are not going on 10 game winnings runs ffs Plus we had England's goalkeeper between the sticks, Ginge at the back, Yossi in the team, Zamora was ban...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Palace need 10 points from 15 games, realistically. That would leave us needing 19 points from 15 games, and we still have to play Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal & Villa. I love the spirit, but it's not happening. We've had 2 genuine good halfs of football in our last 8 games, I'...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
Sunderland are on 33 points. 7 points from their next 15 games leaves them on 40 points, that's a mountain to climb for us. No chance they get sacked into anything.

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We definitely do need a football miracle. As Manners said, the 4 games starting with Fucking Fulham done for us. Would love to be positive, but it's so hard to make up the points, the swings in points difference with a couple of bad results is monumental at this stage. I can't see us having more goo...

Agreed Bill. If I had my way, I'd have Advance UK in, but it's not going to happen. I'm not expecting miracles from Reform, but at the very least some common sense ideas to running the country. Supporting businesses, working people, clearing out the hotels (£53 BILLION a year on security alone FFS) ...

Re: West Ham United 25/26 relegation thread
We're just destined to go down.
Not attacking that Fulham game at home was our death knell. We can blame luck all we want, but if you don't try and win home games like that, you deserve to go down.
