Understand it was to recognise that some children have people like older neighbours that perform grandparent roles or that some schools take children to old peoples homes to encourage interaction with residents. So 100 charities have written to the home secretary calling for her to house asylum seekers in hotels because they are catching diseases in asylum centres. So lets put them in hotels and risk other people who aren't asylum seekers catch it. It's like covid lockdown never happened.
