Woke watch

Post arsene york-hunt »

"There is a very good section on GB news where the ludicrous idiocies of Wokeness are looked at I thought we would should have one for WHO. I'll start with Baptiste on BBC: In Hungary,an ambassador's family are kidnapped by Islamic terrorists and carry out atrocities. At the end of the last episode Baptiste finds out that it is a false flag operation and conveniently, the real culprits are white supremacists who want to stop all immigration. Coronation Street ITV a gay black footballer is stopped by the police, because he is driving an expensive car. He is pushed to the ground during an altercation, and damages his leg threatening his career. Could have been written by Dawn Butler or a BLM activist."

Why would fat people be offended by the sight of a fat person in a film? I thought we wanted more representation of minorities? Same with the midgets.

"Go down your local charity shop and grab all the kids books you can - if not for the sake of your kids, for the sake of theirs. Make sure that they know that, under no circumstances are those copies of the books ever to leave the house - whoever pleads - and make sure the trouble understands that, too, even if ""all"" she wanted was a bit of peace & quiet."

"Augustus Gloop is no longer fat, Mrs Twit is no longer fearfully ugly, and the Oompa-Loompas have gone gender-neutral in new editions of Roald Dahl’s beloved stories. The publisher, Puffin, has made hundreds of changes to the original text, removing many of Dahl’s colourful descriptions and making his characters less grotesque. The review of Dahl’s language was undertaken to ensure that the books “can continue to be enjoyed by all today”, Puffin said. References to physical appearance have been heavily edited. The word “fat” has been removed from every book - Augustus Gloop in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory may still look like a ball of dough, but can now only be described as “enormous”. In the same story, the Oompa-Loompas are no longer “tiny”, “titchy” or “no higher than my knee” but merely small. And where once they were “small men”, they are now “small people”. Passages not written by Dahl have also been added. In The Witches, a paragraph explaining that witches are bald beneath their wigs ends with the new line: “There are plenty of other reasons why women might wear wigs and there is certainly nothing wrong with that.”"

"100% of meat served up at schools in the UK is halal meat. That can’t be right, surely? Don’t they butcher the animals while they are still alive? Where’s the RSPCA on this?"

"Yeah you would think Branded. I’m not so sure. All the Govt surveys and projections talk about birth rates when using projections they all seem to ignore immigration. Sharia law from what so understand is being allowed for certain disputes in what are now considered small communities, what happens down the road when these communities aren’t as small. The law society’s heading down the same slippery path. Personally I doubt It all happens in my life time but certainly expect it to happen in my kids life time. My sister and brother who both still live in the UK have kids, I’m concerned for them."

The culture of the UK’s legal system is rooted in the Christian faith. If that were to change we would then see what people believe.

"I’m reading Islam is set to become the largest religion in the UK by 2035, is that accurate?Does anybody know? If true, do you think people will be pressured to convert? Or do you believe them when they say diversity is our strength? How about Sharia law, how long before they allow that to become prominent? 2040ish?"
