The murder of Ian Page near where I worked in North West London (also at a bus stop ) has certain comparisons to the Lawrence case but received very little media coverage until it went to trial. It was obviously deemed not to have a racial element however if the victim had been black and the perpetrators white it would have recieved far more publicity I'm sure.
