Wondered what others have thought about Picard on Prime? Watched three episodes and can't quite make my mind up.

"So I’ve recently had a newborn so with a lot of spare time at home with not a lot to do i have done something that i have put off for 15 years.............the US Office, it took me a couple of seasons to get into it and to separate it from the UK version but if like me you have put it off all this time simply because it’s not the UK version i would definitely recommend it."

Best thing I've seen recently is Ted Lasso and the Flight attendant both hugely enjoyable.

"Watching Inhuman Resources on Netflix, Eric Cantona is the lead role! on episode 2 of 6, watchable without being outstanding, dubbing is a bit cheesy, bad American accents, but if you can get past that its worth a weekend, or Easter in my case!"

"Problem with Moira is, as excellent a character she is (and Nurse is spot on with what she says), is that once Mrs C pointed out she was the mum in Home Alone, all I hear whenever she appears is “KEVIN!” Alexis is my current favourite - every little dropped in story about escaping from an Arab palace, car jacking in Johannesburg, how to break taped up wrists etc, and how Johnny reacts absolutely crack me up"

"Moira. It has to be Moira. Well, Moira's wigs and outfits, followed by Moira. I bet the costume designers on that show had an absolute blast."

Continuing the plough through Schitt’s Creek - about half way through now and absolutely love it. One of those programmes where your favourite character changes from week to week because they’re all so good

"Yeah, that's the one. Interesting that they're showing it on BBC4 directly after Line of Duty, for those who can't get enough of corrupt cops."

"Enjoyed The Terror on iPlayer and liking Unforgotten at the moment. Also, if you like a bit of true crime, Forensic: The Real CSI is good on the iPlayer."

"Talking of old TV shows and series about police corruption, Between the Lines is both, and just started repeats on BBC and the iPlayer. Been nearly 30 years since I seen it but remember it as being pretty decent."

The excellent Elizabeth R from 1971 starring Glenda Jackson has recently been repeated on BBC Four. An excellent series. It is available on Daily Motion while some episodes are still available on BBC iPlayer.

"Nurse Ratched 1:40 Sun Mar 21 Surprised you didn't give it more of a chance, seeing as it's pretty much the closest series there is to The Shield. I don't think any series comes across too well if you don't start from the beginning anyway, unless it's one of those shows where the story is done and dusted by the end of each episode. Spiral does tend to have a new main story each season but it's very much character focused so you'd miss out a lot by watching mid way through the whole series."

"I tried watching Spiral, on gph's recommendation. I don’t know which episode it was, but I don’t think I started anywhere near the beginning. In the episode I watched, a female detective was teamed with a new male copper she had never met before. They started their investigation, and within about twenty minutes or so, she said to him (along the lines of) ""So, shall we have sex, then?"" At which point I rolled my eyes and switched it off. The French are extremely tedious."
