jfk 9:54 Sun Nov 21 Agreed thought that was brilliant viewing. The one where our professional troops meet the German conscripts for the first time at Mons was captivating. Totally authetic. What a hero that Captain....shot 3 times and still manning the machine gun.

"Gomorrah the TV series. Bleak but totally compulsive Naples mafia series. Input from Roberto Saviano, young journo, who’s still in hiding after exposing the Neopolitan mob. Bit like the Wire but like Sopranos Can’t recommend enough."

"Northern Sold 11:38 Mon Nov 15 I loved that too, though felt a bit uncomfortable when they made him sit through that (quite brilliant) display at the end. Eddie looked very sad at times as he watched it. I mentioned to a mate down the pub, who is a massive speed freak biker and an ex angel, and he told me that Eddie was doing a lot of Charlie at that time, and was possibly the reason as to why he made that mistake. Despite his disability, you could still see the intelligence and twinkle behind his eyes."

"ray winstone 11:25 Have yet to watch the last series fella but good to know it’s still quality. Very few series get to 7 without becoming dogshit. Speaking of dogshit, just finished the last series of Ted Lasso. Dissapointing is an understatement. Hackneyed and formulaic. What We Do I The Shadows however.. class."
