"Pay to do a brief film course at the BFI today and you might well become the next Barry Norman. Very soon you too will be able to come up with serious film analysis, like this: ""Dune 2 was OK. A bit dragged out."" ""That Rudolph Hoess house by concentrating camp film is shit"" ""Sleeping Dogs is good worth a watch but for me I guessed the twist about two thirds in. But I’m a smarty pants ."""
Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
Manuel Don’t ever fucking tell people what I say when it’s lying shit. I studied at the BFI so I’m more qualified than most on here . Also I don’t tend to watch shit films as I taste. So fuck off you weird sad stalker.

"Watched Immaculate last night, it's ok if nothing else is on. But it's not anything you haven't seen before."

"Alfs - I didn't get around to it yet, but will still watch it as I like Crowe, also I found Memento a bit weird. For the record Swiss is one of these that seems to like everything, hardly a ''critic'' lol."
Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
"Black Flies on Amazon. Superb, tough and very well made movie."
Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
"Watching The Good The Bad & The Ugly again, what a fabulous Western this is. Clint Eastwood, Elli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef, priceless line up."

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
"zico 11:21 Fri Apr 5 Yes I saw that some years ago. Weirdly Bill Nighy really reminded me of our old guitarist but, well, older. My pal who does the AA rooms regularly sees him along with untold other actors, bankers, ex-models and all sorts. We once sat outside the Design Museum in Kensington having a coffee after going to the Kraftwork exhibition and I couldn't believe how many fit looking women stopped and said hello to him. It was almost enough to make me stop drinking. Almost..."

"chim chim cha boo 8:39 Fri Apr 5 If you like Bill Nighy you have probably already see it but on Prime I think they are showing an old classic Still Crazy about an old washed up pop band. Nighy, Billy Connolly, Jimmy Nail, Timothy Spall, a great watch."

Re: 2020 Movies (now including 2021 and 2022)
"Best film I’ve seen this year (very few tbf) was Snack Shack. It’s a coming of age comedy/drama set in the summer of 91. Similar feel to Liquorice Pizza and The Holdovers. Director Adam Rehmeier’s first film, Dinner in America, is also worth a watch if you like quirky comedies. It’s like a punk version of Napoleon Dynamite."
