NFL (since 2016)
"Free agency started last night and was pretty crazy some huge money being spent. Osweiler getting £18m a year for the Texans, leaving the Broncos without a QB, Giants have spent a fortune on good but not great players, Oliver Vernon has more guaranteed money than JJ Watt. lots more deals but cant be bothered to list them all."
Re: 2016 NFL Season
"So the NFL starts tomorrow night and I'm not excited at all. Gonna be a fucking miserable season for the Niners. £20 burning a hole in my pocket and I will be placing it on the Panthers at 9's. No logic, placed the top 8 teams in the betting in a pot and the missus picked one out, as I couldn't decide! Let's Go Niners, let's go 'clap clap' - woo hoo"

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"I'm more after your backup tightend to be honest mate was just trying to give you an incentive by offering you a better receiver than you currently had. Lewis will start the year on the PUP list so he will definitely be out atleast the first 6 games, i was going to pick up james white but someone already has as he'll be the pssing back for us until lewis comes back. Just cant trust patriots players when its a complete unknown throwing them the ball!"

"With regards to the premier peague to nfl comparison, unfortunately i think its patriots and man utd, as they hve been the most dominant teams of the modern era and i cant think of a better coaching comprison for bellichick than fergie"

I like the way your franchise has been turned round. some really good recruiting and it's a shame teddy's out but you're doing things the right way. when's the new stadium ready?

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"the redskins have a lot in common with us. their best years were many years ago. been owned by a complete fuckwit cսnt. after gibbs, coached by a succession of useless bastards and recruited some truly dogshit players with the odd gem amongst it"
Re: 2016 NFL Season
"cough. I'm a Giants fan. Eagles,Bears and Browns all have had there West Ham moments. Great fans. Piss poor ownership.Etc,etc. Could also put the G Men in there. Apart from the ownership problems. Had there moments in the sun. Some top class managers/coaches. And a couple of game changing players. Top quality fans. Btw. Love the Chelsea/Cowboys one cough. Couldn't put it any better myself."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"I would say West Ham is more akin to the Philadelphia Eagles, at least on a fan basis"
Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Mr. Burns 8:29 Tue Sep 6 clearly written by someone who has followed the NFL for about 5 years. Always felt the Spurs were most closely aligned with the Jets given they are both big money market teams who fail spectacularly due to poor managment, and both have the biggest set of cunts for fans. Chelsea are much more akin to the Pats and their johnny-come-latelys recent succes (relatively speaking) Mancs - the Green Bay Packers as the legends of the league even if struggling as of late. Liverpool - Steelers: blue-collar team of has-been success West Ham - tough to say. I might say the browns, but I don't know that we are that dire. both have an incredibly loyal fan base. Maybe the bears who haven't been relevant since the 80's with also very loyal fans. the Rams are most akin to MK Dons, selling to the highest bidder."

Re: 2016 NFL Season
"Mr. Burns 8:29 Tue Sep 6 Hmmm Arsenal and Saints. Arsenal fans never had to deal with the abject 'Aints (paper bags and all) that Saints fans did. To be fair, I don't know much about Arsenal beyond my lifetime."
