Just stumbled across No one is innocent by the Sex Pistols and Ronnie Biggs. God that brings back memories of my misspent mid teenage years!

I remember seeing Simple Minds at the Marquee in 1980-ish on the nack of hering Changeling on the John Peel show. They were bloody good - effects heavy guitar backed up by a wall of sequenced synth noise and pounding Krautrocky rhythm.
Not such a fan their more poppy stuff but I guess that is what made the band survive for so long.

The Fleetwood Mac era that I like the best.

I have to say, like him as I do, if that is 'THE' guitar on that track, I really don't think it sounds anything special.🤷‍♂️

It's not always about playing at 1,000,000 mph. Funnily enough, despite PG's well-deserved god-like status, a lot of famous early FM guitar parts are played by Danny Kirwan. Oh Well, for starters.

I loved them, they lost a lot when the keyboard player Mick left but good to see they're still touring

Live In The City Of Lights was a fantastic album in my humble.
Think they've another live album coming out, Live In The City Of Diamonds.

Go's against the grain, but still think their set at Live Aid was the mutts nuts.
No easy feat when you're up against both Queen and U2, who were also blinding

Bit sad that both Fish and Marillion are in the process of hanging it up.

I understand Fish has actually permanently closed his webstore. Impressive gesture, turning up the chance to continue to flog merch for years to come.

Hi.  People are now listing Fish merchandise on eBay for ridiculous prices.  Whilst not illegal, it is morally dubious.  Obviously not fans of the artist, they snap these things up just to flog at a big profit.  Some people are doing the same with the limited edition 2CD version of the new Mostly Autumn album.

It's just a perception that items will become rare and more valuable I suppose. I understand something similar is happening with Jaguar cars after their announcement that they are going all electric.
