Ah this has saddened me. Must have seen The Alarm more than 20 times in the 80's and by all accounts he was one of the nicest people in the business.

A lot of the musical and movie etc stars from my era are now in a long queue waiting for the Grim Reaper. The excesses of yoof etc catching up. Except of course Keith Richards ( he and cockroaches even predicted to survive a nuclear holocaust).
