Growing up and through to adulthood I always ended up having gooner mates. Having to play down my absolute hatred for their plastic cringy wanker club for the sake of friendship has been the bane of my life. 

I remember going to that preseason thing at Highbury in the 90s with Panathinaikos and Sampdoria and the Arsenal fans started cheering us on for our game only to be met with a chorus of "fuck off Arsenal". I think I would have walked away from the club if we had reciprocated that. I hate them more than I support West Ham.
