Yes, parrots in pubs.

Wasn’t on about random parrots actually flying into them, more pubs keeping them.

Admittedly parrots in pubs were never proliferate, (not on goldfish in Chinese takeaway levels), they were quite niche, and they were probably more likely to be found in port towns and cities, but you did come across them occasionally kept in pubs.

And now it’s very rare to see it.

The last time I saw a parrot in a pub was in Hull at our game there in 2009. I’ve not seen one since.




 

Wow Ive never heard of that before. was it a nod to the pirate history or maybe how pirates got associated with parrots in the first place? 

Probably a similar function to a canary in a mine if this was in Hull.

Piles of porno mags not very well hidden in the woods somewhere. Who used  to put them there? Probably some perv spying on us. 



 

I remember as kids we stumbled across an extensive porn collection when retrieving a football from some overgrown bushes in the park.

We came back the next day to have another look and there was a bloke in there with his trousers round his ankles.

He reckoned he was having a shit but I think that was the shock at being rumbled having a wank.

Betting their were some overgrown bushes in the mags as well. 

I found a porno mag in the park as a kid and took it home. When leafing through the pages I found it had this sticky fluid all over it. Quite disgusting obviously, but I guess it was a good thing when I realised it was caused by a snail that was still tucked in there.
