2026 World Cup draw
Draw from the Kennedy Center in Washington on Friday from 5pm
The Kennedy Center is the venue Donald Trump has taken control of which is sinking badly
Entertainment by the Village People and Robbie WilliamsPot 1: Canada, Mexico, USA, Spain, Argentina, France, England, Brazil, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, GermanyPot 2: Croatia, Morocco, Colombia, Uruguay, Switzerland, Japan, Senegal, IR Iran, Korea Republic, Ecuador, Austria, AustraliaPot 3: Norway, Panama, Egypt, Algeria, Scotland, Paraguay, Tunisia, Côte d’Ivoire, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South AfricaPot 4: Jordan, Cabo Verde, Ghana, Curaçao, Haiti, New Zealand, European Play-Off A, B, C and D, FIFA Play-Off Tournament 1 and 2The draw will begin with all the teams from pot 1 being drawn to groups A to L. It will then continue with pots 2, 3 and 4 in that order.
The FIFA fixFor pot 1, Canada, Mexico and the USA, as the host countries, will be identified by different coloured balls and, when drawn, will be assigned to position A1 for Mexico (green ball), B1 for Canada (red ball) and D1 for the USA (blue ball), as already established per the match schedule released on 4 February 2024. The remaining nine top-ranked teams in pot 1 will be identified by nine balls of the same colour and automatically allocated to position 1 of the group into which they are drawn. To ensure competitive balance, two separate pathways to the semi-finals have been established when developing the match schedule. In order to have a balanced distribution of the teams, the four highest-ranked teams in the FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s Ranking, when drawn, will have the following constraints: the highest-ranked team (Spain) and the second highest-ranked team (Argentina) will be randomly drawn into opposite pathways, and the same principle will apply to the third (France) and fourth (England) highest-ranked teams. This will ensure that, should they win their groups, the two highest-ranked teams will not meet before the final.

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
And here it is folks, Americans have finally brought commercial breaks in the middle of each half, if there wasn't already enough to hate about the 2026 world cup. We now have mandatory water breaks for "player welfare" regardless of weather conditions:

Seems the Pride game was allocated before the fixture was set as Iran v Egypt
Am sure they will embrace it … and each other

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
Australia got lucky and got one of the underwhelming Pot 1 teams ie the hosts USA
Have Paraguay & one of the UEFA playoff teams
Cant complain
Saw a clip where the USA ‘experts’ were on a panel celebrating that Australia came out
Usual arrogant Yank cunts
They played recently in a friendly which USA won against an experimental Aust team
The Americans complained that Australia were too rough
ha ha ha

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
If games go to form and England and others win their group they are likely to play
Mexico in the Azteca
Brazil in the heat of Miami
Argentina in Atlanta .. also hot
France or Spain in the final
Can’t believe the path via finishing second in the group is worse than that

Still a bit of an unlucky draw and tricky group when you see some of the other groups. However qualification should be pretty straightforward in first or second and we will have to beat far better than Croatia to win the tournament anyway.
what could be a problem is England's first two games will be on a "temporary grass surface" as the pitches are artificial, cant imagine it will be a good job

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
Good draw for England, I think.
Might do us a favour to play a couple of half decent teams before the knockouts.
I also read that if we top the group, we play a 3rd placed team.

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
I must admit I am usually invested in the World Cup and England, not that I think we will ever win it but Infantino is a snidey, narcissistic whore whose use of FIFA as a vehicle to shove his tongue up the dictator Trump's arsehole is enough to make you sick I mean wtf is the FIFA World Peace Prize. You can shove the Trump Soccer World Cup. And also wtf are the leaders of Canada, Trump wants them as the 52nd state or some such shit and Mexico Trump wants to bomb them, doing coming up to the cսnt. They should be ashamed. The word quisling seems apt.

Re: 2026 World Cup draw
Sounds like one of Englands group games is in Texas & the rest in Toronto Boston or Philadelphia
Those 3 are close together so makes the initial group travelling for those going
Not going so more interested in the match times
Dont think tv will allow them to play late to avoid the heat so will be some times that aren’t particularly helpful for those with jobs & a love of sleeping
Agree that it really won’t get going til they ditch half the teams

Sad & amusing in equal measure that you'll use any excuse to introduce everybody to your hobby.
We all get it - you can't accept anything outside your bell (end) curve of majorities. Why not simply tell everybody why it is that this type of person scares you into making such posts? Prove your claims, using crayons, if needed. You can eat them when done.

Sounds like a possible Testimony quote from Virginia Giuffre's new book.
