The answer to both of those questions is no.
That’s why we have Soucek/Guido/Irving on the bench.Oh yes the prolific Guido and Irvine. Joke poster.
They’ll help us defend a lead, you mug.

Re: Nuno Out
Still plenty of points to play for, so let's see what happens with or without the present Crackhead remaining in charge or not. It's not quite a total write-off yet even if it doesn't look good at all right now.
Re: Nuno Out
With this squad even Pep couldn’t keep us up, by end of January it will be obvious even to a blind man we’re going down, so then start preparing who to keep, who to get rid of and who’s going because we’re in the championship.

Has issues with concentration although last Saturday and previous games Im just seeing a CB who is not fast or strong or aggressive enough. That 2nd goal for City an example. He had to throw his leg, body across but just not quick enough or perhaps brave enough? Anyway, point is you need a real athlete and Kilman aint
It wasn't just Coady though was it? For years Wolves had countless players who were very decent midfielders who could anticipate where the ball was going thus giving the defence a regular chance to take a breather. The trouble for them is they sold every last one and are now royally fucked.
All those Portugeezer ballers from the Jorge Mendes roster made him look a lot better than he actually was.

Re: Nuno Out
Thats correct Rossal, the margin for error is zero. He has to accept that Guido, Irvine can never play again so put them in the bin with JWP. He has to also accept Kilman is back up even to Mavro. Ideally we get another CB so both never start again but injuries can hit. Less chopping and changing although in his defence that squad is appalling.
Wilson is an impact sub and always was. Not buying a striker in summer has been the biggest failure. We need 2 and quality ones who can score.
I see no way out. I suspect we wont beat Fulham or Brighton as we have no home advantage at the souless bowl. I keep looking to the future and young / U21 players. We need Sullivan gone but suspect he will dig in and think we will bounce back to get his asset value restored.

Re: Nuno Out
Another game where we have a bench full of shite and no attackers.
I think the squad may be good enough to stay up with a new CB and CF.
The manager though has what, 7 out of 12 games where his tactics, team selection or subs have been abysmal?
We can't afford to carry on with that ratio.

You could send Sullivan to Harrods and he’d waste his cash on something you could buy at Romford Market for 10% of the price.
I give you Max Kilman as an example. He might have cost £40m and £100k a week. But that bloke has two bob written all over him.
Soul-less athletics stadium. Portakabin training ground. Etc. Etc.Kilman is a shocker - he needs a competent sidekick to tell hin what to do at ALL times. The bloke has no leadership or initiative whatsoever and the main reason they signed him is because apparently he can pass the ball out from the back.
We've all seen him do that and have been left scratching our heads as to exactly why our club thought he was worth £40million. Nobody else was willing to meet the opening bid at the auction house but our chairman steams in with an offer at double the asking price to prove he is some kind of power broker/football negotiator genius.

What we do is waste time on haggling and baulking at meeting valuations for decent signings, pissing everyone off in the process only to spend the same money panic buying vastly substandard candidates when it gets to the last week of the window. Rinse and repeat.
this January we’d be wise to just get on with spending whatever it takes to get the players in to keep us up.

Re: Nuno Out
You’re right - we’ve spent quite a lot on players and wages. But because we’ve got Del Boy in charge, and he appoints cheap Rodneys as managers, none of them know what the hell they’re doing. So they waste Premier League money on bargain basement drivel.

I'll leave that there to stew over.Irrespective of his ability, he’d never consider coming to West Ham again after Brady leaked details of his talks with us (on a previous occasion) to the press. For all his faults, O’Neill is a dignified man, and he thought our board acted atrociously at the time.

Even if we somehow scrape our way out of trouble this season, 2026-27 will be run in just the same way.

Re: Nuno Out
It was the stupid set up against Brentford and Leeds with the inverted full backs that still rankles with me. If it wasn't for that we could easily be 3-4 points better off. Parking the bus would've been better than that drivel which clearly wasn't going to work out from the off. I didn't get it at all.
Those are certainly the matches which have cost us up until this point and quite possibly when the season is done.

Re: Nuno Out
You’ve got to remember that Lopetegui, Potter and Nuno (and others before them) are ultimately Sullivan’s choices. They are cheap, unemployed managers who - unsurprisingly - do cheap, ineffective jobs.
Everything about this club under Sullivan’s stewardship is two bob shite. And look at the fucking state of the team it delivers.
