Do you think they will let us swap Kilman for Strand Larsen? Fair’s fair.

It was his previous 2 seasons he had was when he looked the part when the pressure wasn't so intense as it is now in a struggling Team like this season. Like Fernandes, Walker-Peters and Hermansen however they can have all the ability in the world but if they've been overexposed to relentless beatings it's going to have a bad impact on them mentally to shake off. They're certainly not usually the types of players a Club goes for if you now want to rely on them to turn an oil tanker heading for relegation around. They probably have worse PTSD than our current lot! 😅

So of course the BS Regime consider them for proper dough for the privilege... 🤪

He's a proper weird one that Strand Larsen. We made him look like peak Haaland when he came on and turned the cup tie around, but apart from 1 from 11 in the league, those 2 were the only goals he's scored this season.

I couldn't fathom what possessed Newcastle to bid £55m in the summer... then I could... and now I can't again.

I still favour a big, strong, fast, young option myself

Then again, if it was him or Josh Sargent...

If I put aside the shocking timing of going for yet another Roger Relegator type with buying players used to losing, as a Striker I actually like Larsen. The risk hoping he'd suddenly turn his form on is extremely high. Only a Club like us would go for him right now in both the Clubs situation. So very BS. 💩

My guess is Milan won’t buy him after the loan, and we’ll be lumped with the lump.
Milan paying his wages is about as good as it gets for us.

I saw wolves want £40m for Larsson.
They are still pissing themselves laughing over kilman.

"Go on, ask them for £40m 😂"

As if we'd fall for it again . . .

Hope we're not really in for Strand Larsson. He's a poor man's Andy Carroll. Puts himself about but he's hardly a prolific goalscorer.

Traore is fast but a headless chicken with very little end product.

I remember being impressed by Charlie Cresswell when he was at Leeds but is he the leader that we need?

Not looking very hopeful...

Should go for Brandon Thomas-Asante.  Looked good whenever I've seen him for Coventry but he may not want to swap a Premier League bound club for a club potentially on the way out.

Fullkrug will probably do well in Milan. Giroud succeeded there at the end of his career.

Just buy a Rottweiler to play up front instead then. At least it would be a lot cheaper and keep a lead for a change.

Correct, Fullkrug wont get a better deal than he already has. He will stink the place out next season and tte one after? ( is he on a 3 or 4 year deal?) just like so many other of the old, injury prone cart horses we have signed in the past. Then he will be offically worthless.

Bless you Sweep. We both know its unlikely as there gas never been a window when Sullivan does business early.  Its critical he does this time as we cannot afford to not have the strongest possible team in every single game from Jan 1st.  But we know it wont happen. He is like a drug addict trying to resist his next hit. He will talk about the need to sell first as we are cash strapped and will get his “high” by liw balling bids, changing terms and waiting as long as possible to, in his mind, get one over the selling club. He rarely does but its about him thinking he has so I suspect he wont get any of the number 1 or 2s on his list of strikers, CBs and wont plan for injuries in midfield by strengthening there.

By 15th Jan, does anyone believe we will have our targets?

Sport Witness

West Ham player could be off to Ajax within weeks – Another fortunate move

Such is the strength of the Premier League, a player at a relegation battling side can be something of a failure and get a move to title-chasing AC Milan.

That’s the fate of Niclas Füllkrug who is swapping third from bottom West Ham for second from top Milan. He’s expected to fly to Italy on Monday evening or Tuesday, and secure his future for the next few months.

Another West Ham player could also be moving to a European giant near the top of the table. This time it’s Ajax, but although they’re third in the Eredivisie a title challenge looks unlikely. PSV are clear favourites and 16 points ahead of the Amsterdam club.

Ajax are keen for reinforcements in January and that’s seen them turn their attention to the Hammers. Voetbal International report Guido Rodríguez is the man in question, and the basis would likely be a loan.

The 31-year-old has picked up around 250 minutes this season, but has been involved more in recent weeks. His contract expires at the end of the season, although there’s an option to extend it for a further year.

Therefore, West Ham’s stance on the situation would be unclear.
Ajax were keen on Edson Álvarez in the summer

Ajax have been exploring the option of signing Rodriguez, but there’s not much more shared than that. They’ll likely want a low cost loan and West Ham may feel they can do better elsewhere, if they decide to part ways.

The Dutch club had been keen on taking Edson Álvarez in the summer window, again on a loan basis. They even went public with their intentions, seemingly confident about reaching a deal. However, they didn’t like the terms offered by the Premier League club.

Álvarez then moved to Fenerbahçe, on loan with an option to buy. He’s had some fitness issues but has made 13 appearances for the Turkish club so far.

Not strictly a transfer rumour, but interesting

Mail

England locked in fierce battle to secure West Ham wonderkid, 15, hailed as one of the country's most promising defenders amid Netherlands interest

By NATHAN SALT

England and the Netherlands are locked in an international tug-of-war over one of England's most promising academy players.

West Ham's Emmanuel Fejokwu, just 15 but plays in the Under-18 Premier League, has so far represented both nations at Under-15 and Under-16 level and was called by up by England and the Netherlands for an international camp last week.

The young defender, who was born in the Netherlands but moved to England in his infant years, this time chose the country of his birth, which caught the attention of scouts given that the pair of Under-16 games would be against England.

It was particularly awkward for the FA and England's youth coaches that Fejokwu came on in the first game and scored a left-footed finish into the top corner, and then followed that up by scoring a header in the second game as a starter.

The FA pathway is littered with players who can play for other nations and there are countless examples of young stars like Elliot Anderson, who spent a lot of his youth career at international level playing for Scotland before declaring for England as a senior player.

But concern has been ramped up at St George's Park that one of English football's most promising teenage defenders could be taken from their grasp.

The Netherlands (left) and England (right) are both trying to convince Emmanuel Fejokwu to commit his international future to them

Fejokwu is just 15-years-old but is a regular for West Ham's Under-18s side

Daily Mail Sport understands that Fejokwu, who plays three years above his age level in West Ham Under-18s, much like 15-year-old JJ Gabriel at Manchester United, is also attracting significant interest from clubs in the Netherlands such as Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord.

Sources in the Netherlands believe a move to the Dutch league would help further secure him from the clutches of England at international level.

His Dutch passport opens the door for him to leave England at the age of 16, something which isn't possible for players that solely hold a British passport. They cannot play abroad until they turn 18.

German clubs such as Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayer Leverkusen have made enquiries, as have Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Anderlecht, Lille and AS Monaco are also understood to be among the clubs vying for his signature.

West Ham are understood to be desperate to keep him while England's biggest clubs have all sought updates on his situation as academy recruitment season goes into overdrive.

Not sure we shouldnt be concentrating on getting a centre back tbh. We're awful at the back. Its cost us a few times, Bournemouth, Brighton and Villa. We scored but couldn't defend our lead.
Stirling 10x Summerville? don't think so mate

I’d love to have seen a front 4 of Summerville, Bowen, Wilson and Fullkrug.
