Me? Thank you for asking.

Settling into the post lunch afternoon/evening with a bottle of Captain Morgan's, with a Pepsi sweetener.

Fucking hate these international breaks, me.

In fact, I recommend many: Honey, lemon juice, slightly cooled boiling water (yes! yes! I know already) and a generous seasonal shot of whisky/rum/brandy.

If you can't get into the Christmas spirit, at least let the Christmas spirit get into you.

Just found a jar of Bovril in my kitchen cupboard (I live in an impoverished region so I've only got one). No idea where & when I bought it, before I left Europe, I suspect, which makes it pre-2003 - well over 20 years old.

Gonna give it a try later, love a mug of Bovril, me.

I love gin but it interferes with my medication so, sadly, have to avoid it. Have a bottle of Hendrix that I'm donating to tomorrow's expat Christmas bash, along with bottles of:

1. 2021 Sliding Hill Pinot Noir,
2. 2020 Condado Del Haza,
3. 2024 I Ferati Lugana
4. 2022 Corte Giara Pino Grigio.

When I'm in town, my local wine shop provides me with a selection of 12 wines every month all of which have, so far been excellent.

Right now? Big pint mug of Yorkshire Tea.
