Re: John Robertson dead at 72
Used to live in Nottm and knew a few Forest lads, players & staff. One night ended up in a pub with him and I think Viv Anderson. Very down to earth, just sat at a table chatting all night, no idea what about as it was a while ago and we were pissed.
Met Clougie a couple of times, Frank Clark many times, did Gary Charles's and Alfe Inge hair Haaland's regularly in my hairdressing days.
Great player, RIP Robbo.

When i saw Andy Reid for Forest he looked like a reincarnation of Robertson
He couldn't be that good though ; No shame in that
RIP

What a player. Loved this bloke. Even as a West Ham fan, as a left winger (when I started out), this fella was one of my favourite players - alongside Dev and Chippy.
Robertson seemed genuinely respected by fans of all clubs. Which, back then, was quite an achievement and said a lot about his talent.

Proper old school winger , puts your average premier league winger to shame, and bollocks to tracking back to help the full back out as well not his job!
