Jumping red lights is trivial???
Lethal is a better way describing it

Yea , let someone else take the flak and I'll carry on moaning on social media.
No tight communities any more who all stood as one of required...now dispersed all over the gaff .
Weve lost our way...our sense of selflessness for the greater good....and of course the small matter of having our demographic numbers whittled down as each day ticks by..
As for basic plumbing trickling down...it's the complete opposite in the UK civil service (civilian).

Inner city Melbourne is definitely left of centre … and yes you’d regard it as the cultural & sporting capital of Australia
Cricket, 10 of the 18 AFL teams, tennis Grand Slam & a F1 race
Great restaurants & coffee too
You should go it’s a brilliant city
Nah, hasn't got a patch on Sydney, as to inner city Melbourne being left of center, more like left of left!!! Don't mind Melbourne for a weekend visit, great cafes and restaurants so agreed on that but fuck living there, the Harbour city is hands down far superior.
And bollocks to all that AFL nonsense, Sydney is first and foremost a Rugby League epicenter, a game far superior to that shit called Aussie rules.
Not sure about that, only been to Sydney twice to be fair but most I speak to who visit Australia always say Melbourne is their favourite city.
Aussies are very competitive about where they live aren't they. Very rarely speak to an Aussie who doesn't think their particular suburb or city is the best.. You seem to have caught that Sydney son![]()
The amount of Aussies I've met who have never left the country or in some cases their state who are convinced there is nowhere better but have nothing to compare it to.
I like Australia it was great while bringing up a family but the nightlife is seriously lacking.. Tabs for pubs etc... Most restaurants shut early.. Only decent in a few areas.
I personally didn't like Sydney or Melbourne especially the traffic, but no problem finding late night pubs was 24 hour one in Sydney
Cairns,Brisbane and Alelaide much nicer cities

Re: Bondi Beach attack
Oz has the same issue as Blighty. The HR culture has infected everything. And Joe Public are either too scared. Or past the point of caring. To deal with the issue. And every other problem stems from it.
It’s basic plumbing. Shit trickles down.!

Inner Melbourne is nice, but once out in the suburbs you could be in any big city in Australia, just all blends into one! Things do shut up early outside of the inner city's but think thats to do with the working day starts and finishes earlier compared to the UK as well?
Australia isnt perfect but overall, i think (for me at least) it's a better place to live than the UK, still get sick of them though, especially around sport and hearing how great Australia is at [insert sport] yet its very noticeable when things are not going so well, they go quiet or all Arsenal coming up with all kinds of excuse or bad officiating blah blah blah, right now you can't miss the Cricketers on the news, shaking hands with politician's and general back slapping for the Ashes wins
Australia doesn't have the same kind of immigration problems either which i think is a big plus, issues here revolve around too many legal arrivals and it contributing to the housing shortage etc, illegals exist but they tend to be backpackers or tourists who overstay, anyone turning up undocumented or on boat gets swiftly put in a detention center, mostly offshore where it can take years to process them, big deterrent, so not many show up these days, also helps Australia never signed up to the UNHCR that's a big problem for the UK being able to do much, mind you doesn't stop the lefty's here ranting about it and how oppressive and evil it is, but any government who wanted to change it would be out on their ear!

Sydney
Your city is the GAY capital of Australia
And rugby league is men in tight silky shorts running into each other. AFL is light years ahead. Think the Sydney Swans will bounce back this season so get with the strength rather than waste time on that
Prefer Melbourne myself but Sydney is quite nice
Until you get out of the inner city
Bogans and rugby league meatheads
