Bowen
Is it time for him to cement the position up top for us?
It seemed to work well once he was moved up as Striker with Kudus in his more familiar wide right position, typified straight away in the goal that was scored.
With Summerville flying down the left, the front 3 looked balanced and a constant threat.
I'd give it another go against Southampton to see if they can continue on from the 2nd half attacking like that.

Having said that if he had that yard of pace he probably wouldn't be playing for us.
What a load of tripe.

Re: Bowen
Hopefully Taty and Pabloe can lift some pressure off Bowen. Additionally, the emergence of Summerville's form too. For too long, we have relied too much on Bowen. He is bang out of form and is bucking under the weight of being captain and our only real genuine attacking threat.

Still our best attacking player but needs to learn that he does not have to score a goal every time he attacks
In the past few games, I think Summerville has got over his injury problems and is our best attacking player out there.
I’d like to see Bowen more central and closer to Summerville rather than being stuck out on the wing and as you say Alf very predictable from there, they know how to mark him.
IF Bowen and Summerville could develop a partnership now the latter is playing well and has good energy levels, they could well bag quite a few goals between them.
I’d put Taty on the right who also has an engine, but would say at this early stage he isn’t as good in front of goal as Bowen. Saying that he put that header away well yesterday!
Pep will coach that out of Bowen..........probably?

Re: Bowen
He did work hard, made a lot of runs, looked like he wanted the ball, but, as I have said on the match thread he seems to have put some timber on and lost a bit of pace. That is first and foremost his responsibility to be as fit as possible but also down to the backroom staff to ensure that as well. Still don't think he is a captain though

You’re scapegoating the wrong person by some distance. It’s incredibly bizarre. What you've tried to do here is find a complicated way to insult me and make yourself look intelligent.
What you've actually done is demonstrate that you're a pompous cսnt.Not sure there was anything complicated about it.
We get it, you hate everything about the club, to the extent you’ve now taken a dislike to just about the only thing to like about the club. A bloke whose goal ended a trophy drought, among other things.
Your ramblings are fucking boring, and in this case completely misguided.
Happy for you to think I’m a pompous cսnt on that basis.
I never said it was complicated, I said you tried to make it so but once again you have to over elaborate because you are, in fact, a pompous cսnt.

I don't agree but the brain surgeon analogy did make me smile

Re: Bowen
People turning on Bowen. Madness. The bloke carries us and is surrounded by shit.
Scored the goal to win us our first trophy since 1980. Gives everything every week. Chasing down our top PL goalscorer record.
Wonder what else he needs to do to have been a great player for us.
