I've barely got the energy to write this but it's the Cup...we'll inevitably not try very hard, but it's a somewhat welcome distraction.

They have a striker we were interested in...Richard Kone...who no doubt will upstage the 50m we have just spent.

Predicted Lineup:
T-Rex

KWP  Kilman   Mayers   Igor

Rodriguez  Magassa

Bowen   Taty    Sumerville

Pablo
Subs:  Areola, Scarles, Mavropanos, Potts, Irving, Paqueta, Soucek, Ajala, Landers.

Predicted Score: 1-1 (lose on pens)

Let Taty cook.

He’ll be what saves us.

I’s give the giant black fella a try in holding midfield, he can’t be worse than what we have out there, He’ll help on the crosses coming in too.

In all seriousness, I think we saw this team’s/our current level today: we’re just a tiny bit better than a mid-table Championship team - and only after extra time.

Great to win, of course. But let’s not get carried away. We have a LOT of work to do.

They ran out of energy. They looked knackered in extra time, in all fairness.

We scored a good second goal - no taking that away from us. But they were spent by extra time.

He was literally on the pitch for five minutes, Stubbo! Against a tired mid-table Championship side that had played 115 minutes of football before he arrived. You must have reassuringly low expectations if you thought he “did well”. But I do like your positivity!

We’ve won a game. Oh yes!

I know it's 'only' QPR and we should win, but this is west ham. Hopefully it's a turning point. Good to see Jimmy and Tatman score. We'll beat spurs 😊

Have to say Henny can def play sweeper keeper more, looks more comfortable than Areola. Just think with his height in the Prem your just gonna target him on shots and crosses.

Is Rodriguez still with us?

I thought we’d left him in a ditch by the side of a motorway.

That bloke is picking up 75k a week. Robbery.

zico wrote: 11 Jan 2026, 16:39 It has to be said that regardless of the result there is absolutely no point at all in keeping Nuno. I'd rather have given that 50 odd million on a young forward thinking manager, someone like Bungle out of Rainbow for instance, an upgrade on what we have now.

Good old Bungle!

His jolly optimism would be a breath of fresh air compared to our last few managers 😂

Get Zippy in as his assistant to act as bad cop...

Nice goal. Excellent turn and cross from Summerville, decent finish from Spud.

What really winds me up about Potts is that he stays on set plays... and he either underhits or overhits every fucking one.

There's not another Premier League team that would have him on dead balls

If he's staying on them... fucking stay behind and practise
