Actually if you read what I wrote I am not welcoming our demise, in fact the opposite. I think Trump is bang on point when he comments on the current state of Europe.

As others have said they were based in Helmand province which was one of the most dangerous places in Aghanistan and got blown up and attacked regularly. Special Forces fought behind the lines alongside US Special forces.
He said it, meant it and it was a pack of lies.
He actually attacked the countries, not the troops. Here's the full quote. Only a Grade 1 TDS sufferer would claim he is attacking the actual soldiers.
"We’ve never needed them (Nato member countries). We have never really asked anything of them. They’ll say they sent some troops to Afghanistan, or this or that, and they did, they stayed a little back, a little off the front lines."

And the US can crack on with it's being a world superpower, whilst also trying to be isonationalist at the same time.
Fuck me, even Somalialand could've worked out the two things aren't compatable in the 100 plus years, the US have battled with that toughie

I think your angst is somewhat misdirected, judging by this if true, is your real problem.
Can’t blame Trump for your reality. Your future looks fucking miserable and I hate that Europe is in such a self imposed mess. Fuck the Globalists and the EU.

The cսnt’s fucking deluded, and I truly wish that for the memory of our, and other nations fallen, he dies a lingering death.

How do you know what Trump "meant?" Are you the fucking rapist whisperer, or something?

No need to explain Nutsin I get it.
The US is an infant country, already in terminal decline. I guess there's a limit worldwide, for the countries main two exports of stupidity and obesity.

As For the Mong who thinks if NATO collapses the European Gov’ts won’t have to pay 5% of their GDP for defense any more, I ask how you gonna defend yourself from Putin?
It’s like listening to a bunch of old housewives complain.
What a bunch of mincers!
Gotta laugh!

WHU(Exeter) wrote: ↑23 Jan 2026, 16:19 You could be right about the 5% thing Nutsin, might have to raise it a lot more, if the BOSS goes full circle and starts actively supporting Putin, instead of just appeasing him.
(What is it with that relationship? I would've thought the leader of the worlds biggest stupidpower would have Putin in his pocket, rather than the other way round)
Wonder what the % of our GDP was spent towards aiding the infant nation stupidpower in Iraq and Afghanistan
Reckon we could get a refund?
I’d try and explain it to you Exeter but O’d be wasting my time, you wouldn’t understand.

Re: The Official Politics Thread (enter at your own risk)
Trumps latest comments regarding British troops in Afghanistan are completely insulting.
Even more so when he dodged multiple times himself.
How anyone in the UK can give this man any credibility is beyond me. Mad world.
