I wouldn't go as far as Rossal, and think the fee we got for him has possibly tempered the dislike/hate towards him. Add to that he's gone home (bless him) so it's not like he has joined another PL club.

However, what he is (was) is a massive drama queen, a man-child, and a one person soap opera, but he was never good enough to warrant such attention. Maradona, he most certainly isn't.

Do I wish him well? Nope. I'm just glad that he's down the road and the whole saga that follows him around is finally over.

The statement put out by the club says it all about how they feel about him, and on this occasion I would side with them.

Paqueta is a cսnt end of.

We stood by him for years over the betting shit. Betting shit which seems to much of a massive coincidence not to have any truth of it.  Years of underperforming, tantrums and suspensions whilst paying him a fortune and he can't even see the season out to try and get us out the mess he was part of creating.

'I never refused to play or ask to leave'  What a load of bollocks that is. Saying that he has fell out of love with it etc, pathetic excuses. Could of shown a bit of loyalty and also could of been available while it was being sorted out.

An absolute rat, who given the fee we are getting, i'll drive him to the airport myself. Just hope he is replaced and will have a big smile on my face if he misses out on the world cup squad.

Can’t blame him for wanting to take his family home. Could have waited until the end of the season though. Does feel as if he has jumped a sinking ship as soon as possible.

great on his day which was about 3 games a season but most of the time he was a maverick. Was about him and him only rather than the team. We won’t miss him as we can’t afford to carry him in our situation.

Then your hatred must have blinded you.. If you couldn't see what was right in front of your eyes, the crying against the cunts the breakdown when he got sent off... After 2 years of being persecuted you don't think that would get to him and it was all an act.

No need to answer it's a rhetorical question

Maybe Soucek was  lying and just seeking attention it's not like he's been through what Paqueta has...  I don't actually think that but how typical of you that a player you love comes out with it and you're full of sympathy and admiration... One you dislike does and he's lying and making it up..

Same goes for Sullivan and the club don't trust him he's lying..
It's Paqueta... Must be him can't be Sullivan

Mental elf is an easy cop out nowadays. Not that it might not be true, but It’s literally a free pass for being a bit of a cսnt in any walk of life.

Souček will never have the quality that Paquetá undoubtedly has, but he’s twice the man he’ll ever be, and I’m much happier seeing him pull on a shirt, with a smile on his face, even if he’s battling his own demons too.

Note to club : stay away from South Americans in the future. They’re generally agg in the long run.

And Souceks mental health is well documented now although at the time he was struggling he kept it to himself and never used as an excuse during that period or use it as an excuse to get away from the Club. If anything he used it to inspire him to do better and to come back fighting. Like you say, twice the man than Paqueta.
Someone coping with their mental health differently to someone else makes him less of a man?

There's a thread at the top of this forum maybe you should read it and stop being a cսnt, go and tell some of them how they're not a man.

Seriously for someone who doesn't rate him at all you're very bitter about him and can hardly post anything without mentioning him

Now if Kilman was accused of refusing to play I'd be delighted and grateful I wouldn't be making constant bitter posts about him I'd just be relieved he's gone now..

Nobody knows the truth about what happened, what I do know is the club have form for making out players to be the instigators.

There are rumours we tried to force him to Villa in the summer but he only wanted to go home.

Same this window we wanted to sell him but he only wanted to go home.

There are also rumours he refused to play, yet when he has agreed to join City and we allowed it he asked not to play didn't demand didn't refuse and played.

If you dislike a player it's better to believe its them than the club.. But then other times nobody believes the nonsense coming from the clubs mouthpieces, selective believing.

Well some rated him higher than I did, that's for sure, a 'creative player' who barley created anything? Not for me. Remembered for one pass and for being good at penalties, marvelous! I don't begrudge him a move home though (bless his cotton socks) as he says he had options in Europe, and I don't doubt that.

Adios, and in the words of WHO, good luck to him. One bit of advice though, remember the idea of football is to pass to a team mate and not the other side. Toodle pip.

You cannot compare Soucek with him because they are very different players and thankfully very different characters with very different morals.

Big Tom pound for pound has contributed far more in blood sweat tears headed clearances and goals than the fraid Paqueta ever did but of course he never made that pass to Bowen that the former is living off

I thank him for the sublime pass that put Bowen through to win us the cup - but since then he's done nothing of note and am delighted that we got 40 million for him.

Give me a team full of Tommy’s any day!
That's a League 2 team. I think we're better having 1 Soucek than none, but you wouldn't want any more. Him at left wing would be a gift for the opposition. A team of Paquetas would easily stay in the Championship.

Are we putting them in goal as well? I might need to think about this again if so.

I've heard it all now, Soucek is a fraction of the player Paqueta is, and he's already been crying about his mental health before leaving. Nothing against either of them, but what you're saying is plain wrong.

Yes Soucek represents the West Ham way. It's class when that combines with skills like Paqueta had, but we don't get too many of them these days.
