Why?
Because it's a spoiler isn't it, thought that's obvious, a twist should be unexpected
But having a twist at the end means you are more likely to want to see it.

Ironically, O’Connell keeps playing significant British roles such as 79’ as a being hunted by the IRA and as Paddy Mayne, the iconic Northern Irish SAS founder.

Great actor though.

Dad’s a sweaty, Mum’s half English, half Jewish, I’m English first, British a close second.

Born and raised in the East End and now up in Scouseland.

English then British. Most Scots and Welsh I meet would say the same. I.e. Scots , Welsh first.

i think the term British is easier for non - British people like the Irish and in the US the term Brits is often used.

Yeah I agree. Didn't have a high expectation but really enjoyed it. I think Bautista and Momoa worked well together.
Agreed, without giving any spoilers I thought it kind of left it open for a sequel.  Think they had a similar chemistry to Crowe and Gosling in "The Nice Guys", now that's a film that needs a sequel...  Also I must say the lovely Morena Baccarin is a delight.
Love Morena Baccarin especially in Firefly and Fast. Yeah sequel is on the cards. Lets hope so.

To be fair if you read the full interview from Jack O'Connell regarding not seeing himself as a 'Brit' its more along the lines of not pigeon holing himself in as a Brit in terms of his acting and restricting the roles he can play. He remarks about trying to speak in press events with a neutral accent to ensure he is shown as versatile and able to take on a variety of roles. He regards himself as from Derby rather than Britain and lets be honest how many on here would firstly describe themselves as British as opposed to English, I know I certainly identify first and foremost as being from England rather than Britain or the UK.

Regardless my opinion on O'Connell is down to his ability as an actor which in my mind he is first class rather than him as an individual and his personal beliefs, couldnt really give a shit about that stuff. I can happily separate the talent from the man if needed.

Not a fan of O''Çonnell after he said he doesn't identify as being British as he had an Irish father.
Fed up of cunts like that.

I noticed Coogan has come out with something similar recently.

They should move to the hellhole that is Dublin with all the other non-Irish people.
