After the capitulation against Chelsea with Nuno's negative, clown ville second half surrender monkey tactics, the Burnley game is pretty much last chance saloon IMO.

Lose it and we're as good as down. Win it (as we should) and we'll have a fighting chance. A draw is no good to us.

Every game is massive. We need a great escape 2 with no Tevez.

I think for his sake we need to keep him out of the side for the rest of the season then ship him out quietly to anyone for 50p and a pound of grapes.

If we happen to be winning at half time, can someone please lock Nuno in the toilet for the rest of the game

The script is already written and awaiting rehearsal on the MOTD set as we speak.

Didn't something similar happen to us against someone else in the season? Or maybe a Striker ending a long baron run in front of goal? Burnley did look proper wank against fellow promoted Club Sunderland on Monday though. Can't see them winning but a draw if we fail to score. I think we can manage that as we have been scoring freely of late.

If we do manage to take a lead, hopefully it’s right at the end of the second half, as I don’t think I could take Nuno pissing away yet another 3 points with his retarded self defeating defensive tactics.

I fancy us to win based on our current form and the fact that Burnley are shit. It would hardly be a shock if we lost though.

Agree with fraser though, how many 'must win's' and '6 pointers' have we had now ffs?

Friday is vital too, need a draw or a Forest win.

Yet here we are again a month on with another last chance, so fuck knows if it is... But yes I win would be nice..
The difference is, we now have some new signings and some good form, so time to start accumulating points.

Brilliantly, he's perked up since we played Forest in front of 34k courtesy of my MATE who works at the stadium.

I dunno. There was no fight or determination or even frustration on losing his place in the team. The bloke is a fucking melt. Physically he's a prototypical centre back who really looks the part but he's just soft between the ears.

This is West Ham we are talking about. I fully expect to win at least one of those games.

I think the 'as good as down' after every game at this point is overblown.

We need to our-perform Leeds by 4 points outof the next 39 available.  Do that and we have a cup final last game of the season.

100% agree though that Burnley is a game that we should be targeting to win as a banker.  The other side of the coin...Leeds remaining fixtures only really have City and Chelsea as the sides you'd bank on them losing to.  We have four of them (Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Newcastle away).

But it's doable as they're not a great side.

Yeah it's quite an important match.

Just as a slight aside as it's not on telly, have an inordinate amount of our homes games been televised this year and barely a few away games? Bit of a pisstake for anyone (foolish enough to be) buying a ticket really. I might be imagining it but someone will know whether it's true or not.
